Happy to have discovered this accommodation. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Mostly location but the service and breakfast added to a high rating. The restaurant was very popular for dinner -reserve or go early. Great water pressure.

Cons:

Some uneven floors and narrow stairways but there is a lift. They gave me a room at the back. Very quiet. I was told the front rooms above the bar and dining could be noisy.

A very historical quirky building with a lovely warm bar, happy hour and amazing food.
Pros:

Customs House, built mid 1800’s, was an eclectic mixture of old & new. Quirky sandstone building but rooms were renovated. Walk to everything. Fabulous breakfasts. Great Bar.

Cons:

We were lucky to have a huge room with everything we needed however our friend’s unit was two stories with stairs.

Great place to stay would stay there again in a heartbeat
Pros:

Loved the convenience the location the service in the restaurant at dinner was fantastic It’s a really great atmosphere.

Cons:

Cold coffee at breakfast and when I asked for it to be remade, they tip some out and have some boiling hot water. I wasn’t impressed.

Very nice hotel in a superb location
Pros:

Fantastic location right on the waterfront.
The room was very spacious with a fabulous bathroom and walk in shower .
The parking though payable was a real bonus being v close to the hotel
The breakfast was great

Cons:

There was no Netflix access, not really acceptable in a premium room in 2026
No window in the room
