Price is convenient, but Hotel is not 5 star for sure
Pros:

it’s view to the sea and to the islands

Cons:

common areas AC is not working
signage to the parking lot is weak, especially in the elevator.
the AC in the room doesn’t stops completely, you have always the ventilation noise.
Room curtains are mess, to close you have to climb on the window, after closed, there is still coming light throughout.
You have a fancy island view, but during the night you have a disturbing noise from the main street.
Light switches looks fancy, but is to complicated.
Beds are not comfortable, whole bedding stuff and linens are synthetic, therefore when you cover yourself, you start sweating.
Especially for a 5 star hotel, bedding material and the actual bed should be above average quality.

Mangelhafter Service und unzureichender Hotelkomfort!
Pros:

Frühstück war in Ordnung und auch die Reinigungskräfte haben ihren Dienst gewissenhaft erfüllt.

Cons:

Finger weg von diesem Hotel! Das Haus verdient die 5 Sterne absolut nicht. Die gesamte Ausstattung und der Komfort hinken dem Standard meilenweit hinterher. Die Klimaanlage in meinem Zimmer war komplett defekt und die Hitze unerträglich. Schlafen war unmöglich, zumal die Matratzen so durchgelegen sind, dass man komplett einsinkt. Beschwerden werden ignoriert und auf angeblich abwesende Kollegen geschoben. Service muss man hier erzwingen und bekommt ihn trotzdem nicht.
Man konnte das Personal regelmäßig dabei beobachten, wie es primär mit sich selbst beschäftigt war und sich lieber um den eigenen Komfort kümmerte, anstatt den Gästen zu helfen. Menschlich war der Aufenthalt eine absolute Enttäuschung. Ich war verletzt und konnte mich kaum bewegen.Beim Frühstück gab es keinerlei Hilfe-nur durch andere Gäste. Als ich nach einer Apotheke für eine Bandage fragte, hieß es unhöflich,ich solle selbst suchen. Erst nach massivem Nachdruck bot man mir Stunden später Hilfe an,da hatte ich die Apotheke längst selbst gefunden und eine Lieferung organisiert.
Da ich mich aufgrund meiner Verletzung in den späten Abendstunden viel in der Lobby aufhalten musste, konnte ich das Gästeklientel genau beobachten. Es herrscht ein ständiger, stundenweiser Durchgangsverkehr von externen, sehr auffällig und freizügig gekleideten Damen sowie Herren,die täglich mit wechselnder Begleitung ein- und ausgingen. Für ein seriöses Hotel dieser Kategorie ist diese Atmosphäre absolut inakzeptabel. Besonders dreist: diesen Personen gegenüber zeigte das Personal eine auffallend freundliche und zuvorkommende Verhaltensweise, während man mich als verletzten Hotelgast eiskalt ignorierte. Nie wieder!

Pros:

Спасибо за прекрасный отдых в этом отеле, все было замечательно. Идеальная чистота в номерах, прекрасные завтраки, хороший отдых в спа!!!

Cons:

Непонятная ситуация с алкоголем, очень плохой курс обмена денег на ресепшен, не дали чек за отдельно оплаченный завтрак

We love Cevahir! Less tourists, more culture, more beauty, more rest:-)
Pros:

For many years we stay at Cevahir every time we come through Istanbul. We love the location, further from tourist areas, more Turkish culture, beautiful views of the sea, very close to the ferry that takes us to Buyuk Ada. And the staff are great, especially Emre.

Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Hotel bissle in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem sehr sauber. Sehr schöne Ausblick vom Zimmer.

Cons:

Hatten ein Familienzimmer gebucht mit 3 Erwachsenen und 1 Kind. Leider nur ein großes Doppelbett. Und 2 Zustellbette. Obwohl das Zimmer sehr groß war hätte man locker noch ein Doppelbett hinstellen können.
