Very vintage TV set at this time era. Foods at 11 floor serve horrible dinner. Paying Primer suite room for a graded 5 star getting a 2 star standard dont even has bottle shower and shampoo gel.
Will not patronise again Hatten! Bad stay!

Don't like everything about this hotel.
Disappointing Stay – Not What We Expected from a 5-Star Hotel.. Difinite will not comeback
Check-in took a 1/2 hour time, event not a peak hour.. with only one staff member on duty. We only managed to enter our Studio Suite at around 10:.30PM. Our child was extremely tired and fell asleep immediately.
Unfortunately, we discovered a very strong urine smell coming from the bathroom. As our child was already asleep, we did not want to go through the inconvenience of changing rooms late at night, so we had no choice but to stay in the room despite the unpleasant smell.
The following morning, we reported the issue to the manager. However, there was no apology or explanation from management. The only response was a housekeeping staff member bringing an air freshener spray, which did not address the root of the problem.
Breakfast was served in a function hall, and the setup felt more like a wedding banquet than a proper 5-star hotel breakfast experience.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness, service recovery, and management response. We expected much better from a hotel with a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Rooms were excellent.
Breakfast was over crowded and variety nothing much by Malaysian standards.
Staff are very helpful & friendly. Hotel location was good wth 2 main shopping malls for good choice of food & shopping.
1. The staff (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, swimming pool, breakfast, etc) were extremely friendly and helpfully.
2. Really like the breakfast spread - yummy-licious.
3. The proximity to great food, Jonker Street, heritage areas, etc. is a big Plus.
The hotel looks quite "dated". Towels and bedsheets were torn and dirty. The shower area is almost choked i.e. the water could not be drained properly - it feels like the pipe is choked.
No zombies
Didn’t like the rooftop bar not being open when staff at concierge desk said it was. And, stingy resupplies of basic consumables in the room.

Excellent location, great staff, value for money.
The hotel is dated, bathrooms in need of upgrade- renovation. Smart TV wasn't smart, couldn't cast or login Netflix etc. Two TV's in room, only one remote.

A few floors in the megamall are very deserted so quite scary.
Clean rooms and very large property
Service is slow. We booked a suite but most of the amenities were missing such as premium shower gel or shampoo. The amenities provided were not justifiable for a suite.
The service was very slow. It took an hour after check in for the bell team to bring our bags to our rooms.
The telephone in the room was very outdated and there was no ringer so I would miss calls.
Very little vegetarian food options. I would not recommend vegetarians to come to malacca.
I think the breakfast was a little repetitive, as the meals on the first and second days were quite similar. Overall, the food was good and enjoyable, but I would appreciate more variety and new options.
