The cost of the room was too high for the lack of amenities

Location was convenient for our needs.

Cons:

They did not have a refrigerator in the room nor any ice dispenser throughout the floors. Staff needed to be reached out to in order to get ice.

Bed had thin layer as top cover and not comfy. Had to ask twice for a blanket.

Cons:

Hot water took over 5 minutes to reach room. Hotel should install hot water circulator. Sometimes even with hot water in shower water temperature would revert to ice cold.

Pros:

Great location. Close to many major subway lines and Union Square. Very clean rooms with responsive air conditioning, which was nice because it was unseasonably hot in late-March/early-April. Friendly staff too.

The beds were also comfortable and the room (on the eighth floor) was reasonably quiet.

Great stay over spring break
Pros:

Best Manhattan Hotel Stay Ever. 5-stars and Beyond
Pros:

From the neighborhood to the staff, the best hotel experience I've ever had in Manhattan. The room was perfect. Even had a terrace room, which took an already great room and stay to another level.

Josh and Becca at the front desk were otherworldly.

Food choices steps from the hotel were terrific and very reasona. Xi'an Famous Foods, Unregular Pizza, Dos Toros, Dig Inn, Cava were great. Inside the hotel, Bowery Road Union Square was outstanding and beautifully built-out. And two thumbs up to Schmackary's, an incredible cookie and ice-cream place. What a great staff too!

Terrible Newyork union square Hyatt experience…
Pros:

I paid extra money for 2 beds larger room and clearly shown in my Priceline app, but hotel insisted they saw different reservation number. Either hotel or Priceline cheated me…. After lots of calls, I was kicked back and forward by Hyatt and Priceline, I am tired, so just let it go and I swear never use Hyatt and Priceline any more……

Must Stay in Hyatt Union Square when in NYC
Pros:

The hotel is located near Union Square Park in East Village and is at a walkable distance from most of NYC’s hotspots. The room was equipped with whatever I needed and the room service was excellent.

The service was amazing and one of the service staff - Alejandro - helped me through my stay here be it recommendations for shopping or to explore new restaurants/bars.
