Great location and friendly staff; great world of Hyatt benefits. It was a last minute stopover due to delays from weather with the World Cup final. Got early check in and great service. Clean and well appointed rooms. Close to everything.

Michelle at Front Desk was very professional and helpful. She left a lasting impression. If and when we return to New York will definitely our first choice will be the Hyatt Union Square, NY. We also had a meal at the hotel the service and the food was good. Five star rating overall for this hotel.

Katharine made the experience of check in easy and in most efficient and friendly manner. Always a smile with any answer for any question I had. This place smells great!!! The room is spotless and the beds are awesome. A good night’s sleep is super important on any trip. They even took on our luggage before we could check in. This was super helpful and very much appreciated.

I chose this hotel as it was close to the Irving Plaza where I was seeing a concert. Although slightly pricey, the hotel was perfect for what I needed and all the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay.

The location in NYC is outstanding. You can get to all parts of town within an easy walk or subway ride. The rooms are clean, nicely-sized and there is a great fitness center. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful to accommodate your needs or address any concerns. Alejandro was very helpful with luggage, directions and recommendations. I will registry again.

The Hyatt Union Square was a last-minute booking for me and was driven by two factors - a decent price and a trusted brand. But the staff is what really stands out at the is Hyatt. Michelle and all of the front desk as well as the energetic, procative, helpful bellmen all helped me throughout a two-night stay at the end of what had been a great deal of travel and work over a month. The room was well cooled on a hot summer day, clean, well-appointed and secure. I'll definitely keep this on my list for places to stay below 14th St.

The location is perfect. The subway station is extremely close, making it easy to get anywhere in New York City. Even my friend, who is a New Yorker, was very impressed with the location. There are plenty of grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and trendy stores within a five-minute walk.

I also liked the smaller size of the hotel. In a huge hotel, it can take several extra minutes just to get back to your room. Here, I could easily return to the hotel during the day to rest and charge my phone before heading out again.

However, the shower area was a little old and had some mold, and the refrigerator was also outdated and not very clean.

We did not have air conditioning on the first night. We called twice to have it repaired but the repairmen could not fix it. We were offered points as compensation but should have received a cash credit for that night.

Michelle was very helpful and nice. Everything was great.

Michelle, Jeff, Alejandro & Donnie led an exceptional team at Hyatt Union Square. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and wouldn’t hesitate returning. In fact, I’m sure we will! Jordan
