Great overnight/passing through stop.
Pros:

Lovely big room with 2 large beds. Modern and clean. Great to have laundry access. Restaurant on site was handy. 15-minute walk into the main street. Plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful both at reception and in the restaurant.

Cons:

The motel looks quite old, though I suspect it has been upgraded in areas. The bathroom was a bit of a shock. Not too sure if the accommodation has plans for upgrades in this area but I think it needs to. Old fashioned and cramped. The shower head wouldn't stop dripping.

Pros:

I had a pleasant stay at the IBIS Styles Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all expectations for a hotel stay. The bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep, and the heating in the room was a welcome bonus during the winter season.

Hot water was excellent, with consistent pressure and temperature throughout my stay. The hotel also offers a laundry room with commercial-sized washing machines and dryers, which was very convenient. Clothes came out well washed and thoroughly dried, making the laundry service efficient and reliable.

Housekeeping was done daily by the cleaning services, with fresh towels and bathroom essentials replaced regularly. If privacy was preferred, placing the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door ensured no interruption, which was consistently respected.

For convenience, the location is also a plus if you prefer to walk. Tamworth Shopping World is about a 5-minute walk via the traffic lights, and Tamworth Central is around 8–10 minutes’ walk through the park. You do need to be willing to explore on foot, as Google Maps doesn’t always show the most direct shortcuts.

Overall, a comfortable and well-maintained hotel with practical amenities, attentive service, and a convenient location. I would happily stay again.

If you are going to be here longer and prefer a nice hot meal. The hotel has a restaurant that has a nice selection of dishes however, if you prefer takeout, the shops are within walking distance, I would recommend the Noodles Resturant (within walking distance to Shopping world). They sell steam rice as a side dish (if you are after a full meal). The rooms we stayed in did not have a microwave hence the above option when considering a meal.

Cons:

Don't have anything negative to say however, always have a plan B. Tamworth is quite remote so you need to be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone especially when considering your mode of transportation to get around. Taxi was our preferred mode of transportation especially when doing longer distances (costly when considering exchange rates but convenient).

Would not stay again!!
Pros:

The room and beds were clean and presentable however the air conditioner is old and musty. The remote needed new batteries. Road noise was quite bad, lots of sirens through the night. The bathroom needed to be knocked out and redone! A random hole in the wall, a leaking toilet, mould growing up the shower screen and generally unclean. Staff were disinterested in asking how our stay was and didn’t seem bothered that we were not happy.
