From the moment we made our reservation until the day we checked out, our experience at Sofitel Montevideo was absolutely wonderful.
We booked directly through the hotel’s website and were assisted by Piroska, who was fantastic from the very beginning. She was responsive, professional, and made the reservation process effortless.
We stayed at Sofitel Montevideo in July 2026, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every interaction with the staff reflected the high standards of hospitality that make this hotel so special.
A very special thank you goes to Gonzalo, who was simply exceptional. He was always available, incredibly helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine desire to help made a lasting impression on us. He truly turned a great stay into an unforgettable one.
We would also like to recognize Santiago, who was equally kind, attentive, and supportive throughout our visit. It is wonderful to encounter people who genuinely care about their guests and take pride in what they do.
As for the hotel itself, we loved absolutely everything: the beautiful historic building, the perfect location in Carrasco, the elegant and comfortable room, the outstanding breakfast, and the exceptional level of service across the board. Every detail contributed to making our stay memorable.

Es una construcción histórica muy bien conservada
Estaban con un nuevo sistema y en principio no pudimos acceder a la habitación hasta que no nos acompañará un empleado para abrirla.
Muy lindo edificio, hermosa decoración y ubicación cerca de restaurants de moda, cafés y paseo por la rambla.
Buena atención del staff, amable y servicial
Lo peor de todo: baño SIN bidet en una habitación DELUXE con vista al río.
El inodoro está en una "caja" de un metro cuadrado completamente aislada de otro sector con la ducha y el lavatorio. Muy poco práctico. Pedí el cambio de habitación y supuestamente son todas iguales. NO me ofrecieron cambio o alternativas.
El estado del mobiliario y mantenimiento, tanto de las habitaciones como pasillos no es el mejor, considerando la categoría y el precio.
