Great hotel price seemed high

Nice place, but very expensive considering the area.
Pros:

Good location near my activities. Clean, with friendly staff and good breakfast.

Cons:

$288 including taxes for one night is crazy! Especially since I discovered late that the hand soap dispenser nest to the sink was empty (and falling off the wall), as was the shower gel dispenser. That’s a lot of money to pay with amenities like that missing. The front desk staff was apologetic, but too late for me.

Breakfast was great.

Cons:

The bed sheets were not changed . When we went to get in bed and pulled the cover down there were green leaves on the bed. We wasted and hour of our stay waiting for and watching them strip the beds at 10:30 at nite, not early check in. I ask to speak to manager in the morning, i was assured there would be one there. There was not, i paid 300 dollars for one nite stay. I was told the manager would reach out to adjust price for inconvenience. That was a week ago and have not heard anything. Bottom line, not changing sheets between guests is not acceptable, and the front desk does have pictures of the leaves in the bed.

Our stay was great.
Pros:

It was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The TV was not working in our room. I called the desk and they came to see what was wrong. When they couldn’t fix it. They changed our room. I was happy with how promptly they solved the problem.

I expect more from Hilton Hampton.
Cons:

Remote was missing from the room, condescending response from front desk. Brought up a new remote and said this may not work, and if it doesn’t were fully booked so we don’t have any more. AC was not working in room, again said no rooms available. No one at the front desk in the morning during check oyt to discuss with

It’s was calm and relaxing with wonderful staff
Pros:

The people, the fluffy pillows and bed, the pool, it wasn’t wild and loud

Cons:

They stated they were under maintenance I’m not sure what that entails but unfortunately we did get some speed bumps
- TV not really working. Kept losing signal for periods of time.
- Under the sink had some garbage
- There was a contact and something random under the table in the corner. So it made me think it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned.
- The AC fan did not work properly. It is connected to the wall device but no matter which one we tried, it still didn’t work properly to set the fan. The AC itself worked.
- Only one garbage bin was lined and I did not notice if there were any to line the cans.
The biggest pain was the TV LOL
