We had a good time while in Pittsburgh.
Pros:

The room we, my husband and I, stayed in was very clean. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't address that issue, however my husband did have the breakfast and he said it was okay. The location was perfect for what we were going to do while in Pittsburgh.

Cons:

The room air conditioner, although it was set at 68 degrees, did not seem to be putting out cool air. There was air coming out it just wasn't cool. The cold water tap in the sink came out warm to hot for me. It was not pleasant brushing my teeth.

It was fair.
Pros:

Close to where we needed to go. Nice along river. The bathroom was clean

Cons:

We had 3 people and sofa bed was needed. When we opened it was disgusting. No sheets, mattress was stained. Dirt all under the mattress- crumbs, comb, fork.
We were moved to an accessible room. Shower not installed right, noisy to step inside, handle rail in shower loose, toilet paper holder loose, toilet seemed unsteady and I don’t need to rely on these things. Had to lift room door upward because installed wrong.
FYI since I noticed: When baseball teams come, need to enforce with coach, kids should not be running around. Elderly people there were upset with all the craziness.

My was nice.
Pros:

The location was great and the facilities overall was great. By the river.

Cons:

The pillows on the bed was very uncomfortable. I woke up with neck pain and a headache.

One of my worst stays ever. Staff incompetent to help.

Nothing, except the location near the Waterfront shopping center.

Cons:

The water in the shower were boiling hot. Steam was coming out. It was impossible to shower without getting burns. I complained twice at the reception, on different days. Different receptionist each time. Both said the same thing: a) they know they have problems with the boiler for many days now; b) they are waiting for parts; c) when I asked why they diodn't notify the guests/booking in advance, the answer was: "it is not my fault, I only work here..." . They charged $450 for two nights, without providing a shower. They wouldn't move me a room saying they are fully booked and they do not know which of the rooms have good water and which have steam hot ones.

Location,and staff were helpful.

Cons:

Shower temperature was either too and too cold no in between. I can tell that toilet was never cleaned as it had a sticky feel so I had to wipe it with alcohol wipes. The floor on the restroom as well was quite sticky where the toilet was at. Linens I dont think were really clean. Some stains on it. Breakfast wasn't great.

Great value if you are looking to stay in the Homestead area.
Pros:

It is a beautiful facility and great value for money. I was participating in a conference in the adjacent hotel and after discussing their experiences it is clear this hotel was the better choice. It’s also very close to many restaurants.

Cons:

The elevator is hydraulic, so super slow. For a 5 story building a MRL elevator would have been a better choice. It did not help that one of the two elevators was malfunctioning and taken out of service, but I understand those things happen.
