Rooftop pool bar
Pros:

The hotel was lovely, clean rooms and courteous reception staff, who were very helpful.

Cons:

The rooftop pool bar, never had soft drinks available as the staff couldn't be bothered to restock the fridge. Some of the staff around the pool were lovely, whilst others saw the guests as an inconvenience and were not very accommodating.

Het hotel is waanzinnig fijn om in te verblijven.
Pros:

De accomodatie was schoon, goed onderhouden, mooi. Gratis valet parking. Het ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid maar wat er was, was wel perfect en goed warm.

Cons:

Het personeel onder elkaar neemt de hiërarchie hoog in het vaandel en spreekt elkaar onderling niet vriendelijk aan. Er worden bevelen gegeven in plaats van verzoeken.

Outstanding comfortable room in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Comfortable, quiet and spacious room. Very convenient location and free parking on site. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Location is excellent and very safe area. Rooms are ok but bathrooms need to be upgraded. Very clean
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and quick. Both restaurants at the roof top are great and the food is very good.

Cons:

Breakfast variety and quality needs to be improved. Baked goods are great but salads and dips are not the best. Cheese quality is not good. Processed meat variety is not good. (Salami etc.) Egg cook variety is good

I will advise anyone to not book with this place unless you pre pay as they cancel your booking without letting you know

Extremely disappointing experience — I strongly advise against staying here

I booked the Wyndham Kalamış Hotel in Kadıköy, Istanbul through Booking.com, with the reservation set to pay at the property.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because they had supposedly tried to take payment. However, this did not make sense, as my payment details were already saved on my Booking.com account. As far as I could see, no genuine attempt had been made to resolve the situation or help me.

What was even more disappointing was the way I was treated when I arrived. Instead of trying to find a solution or assist me with alternative accommodation, I was essentially left without a hotel and had to go and find somewhere else myself.

After travelling and arriving expecting to have a confirmed place to stay, this was extremely stressful and completely unacceptable.

I am very disappointed with both the handling of my reservation and the lack of help from the hotel. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.
