We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamış Marina Hotel and were extremely satisfied with everything. The hotel was beautiful, clean, elegant, and the entire staff was very professional and kind.
A very special thank you goes to Mr. Yiğit from the concierge team. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, polite, and made our stay even more enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond for us and always helped with a smile.

Location and rooms
Restaurant and bar are way too expensive. I have never seen prices similar to those at similar hotels in the U.S., Canada or Europe. I paid $13 for a 250ml coke from the minibar. Those are not acceptable prices. Those prices also do not help the hotel since I had all my dinners and lunches outside after seeing the prices. They should do better pricing.
Sehr gut. Alles stimmte. Lage, Zimmer, Frühstücksbuffet sehr sehr gut.
All was very very good and staff was very very helpful, but this days was sunny and outdoor pools
were CLOSED.....IT WAS TERIBLE......I choose this hotel only they have two outdoor pools. So we are very disppointed...🤧🤧🤧

The location
My stay at this hotel in Rio was extremely disappointing, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking.
We arrived to a dirty room. It was clear that it had not been properly cleaned before our check-in. The floors were unclean, surfaces were dusty, and the overall standard was unacceptable. On top of that, the room smelled very bad. When we raised this issue with the staff, they tried to convince us that there was no smell instead of acknowledging the problem. We received no compensation for arriving to a dirty and foul-smelling room.
Housekeeping was highly inconsistent. Several days, when we returned to the hotel around 4–5 PM, the room still had not been cleaned. It’s very easy to see when cleaning hasn’t been done — after spending time at the beach every day, it’s natural to bring a bit of sand back with you. When the sand was still on the floor hours later, it was obvious that no cleaning had taken place. The towels and bed linen were stained and did not appear to be changed regularly, which made the entire experience feel unhygienic.
I had to address our concerns multiple times before anything was done. After we complained, they moved us to a smaller room, which was unacceptable since I had paid for a specific room size. Only after insisting that I expected the room category I had paid for did they move us again.
Water was not included — something I am used to at hotels — and they charged 10 reals per bottle, which felt unnecessary and overpriced.
The breakfast was very poor. The selection was limited and low quality, and something as basic as an omelet cost extra, which is quite unreasonable for a hotel breakfast.
Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend mit vielen Restaurants und guter Busanbindung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders der Concierge Herr Yiğit Türel war in allen Belangen immer ansprechbar und sehr nett! Auch der Checkin am Hotelempfang bei Herrn Özgür war reibungslos und sehr freundlich, wir wurden persönlich zu den Zimmern begleitet, wirklich toll. Besonders hervorheben muss man das Personal im Frühstückstestaurant, alle super nett und sehr aufmerksam, der Chefkoch hat wirklich alles gegeben, um die Gäste zufriedenzustellen. Niemand hat sich daran gestört, dass unser Baby manchmal laut war und seinen Brei überall verteilt hat.
Das Hotel hat unseren Transfer vom Flughafen zum Hotel organisiert, die Fahrt kostet 100€, die Fahrt zum Hotel war prima. Allerdings war die Fahrt vom Hotel zurück zum Flughafen, ebenfalls 100€, wirklich grauenhaft. Der Fahrer war nicht adäquat auf die 5 Fahrgäste incl. Baby mit 3 Koffern vorbereitet, er war nicht in der Lage, die 3 Koffer aufzuladen, obwohl es ein Mercedes-Van war, er hat uns vor, während und nach der Fahrt komplett ignoriert, kein Hallo, kein auf Wiedersehen, sehr unfreundlich und definitiv keine 100€ wert. Wenn das die Fahrt zum Hotel gewesen wäre, hätte ich keinen weiteren Transfer gebucht. Dafür kann das Hotel zwar nichts, aber es war ein unschöner Abschluss einer ansonsten sehr schönen Reise.
Sehr sauber und freundlich, das Bett war sehr bequem.
