This is a beautiful heritage hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The Sultan is in a fabulous location for exploring Kompang Glam and little India- incredible food all around you! The hotel is charming and comfortable with very helpful staff.

A unique experience in Singapore
Pros:

Love the surrounding with abundance of food choices, both costly and economical. Located near the Arab street area is a plus, when we could spend an afternoon venturing into the small lanes of shopping and food hunting. Hotel was converted from a row of old shophouses. Enjoyed the cultural vibe while staying there. Staff was friendly enough. No screaming kids running around the lobby, which was a plus point for us.

Cons:

Not near any subway station. But near several bus stops. If it rains, you are typically trapped because there is no shelter to anywhere else other than the doorstep of the hotel.

Great location
Pros:

The location was great, with transport, restaurants and places to visit all within easy walking distance.
The staff were all very professional, polite and helpful.

Cons:

The corridors could be very noisy at night as it was almost impossible to close the room doors quietly. It would be nice to have a mirror in the bedroom, rather than relying on the dimly lit one in the bathroom.

L'atmosfera della struttura, la posizione. Il personale merita un encomio perché mi ha sempre aiutato a risolvere situazioni anche complicate. Davvero unici nella gentilezza e disponibilità.

Cons:

L'assenza della colazione, la scarsa disponibilità di caffè nelle vicinanze, la dimensione limitata della camera, che era molto silenziosa ma per come è fatta la struttura riceveva poca luce dall'esterno.

Old world charm, lovely staff.
Pros:

Wonderful staff, good location, short walk to the train. It’s a beautiful old building with icy-cold aircon. On-site coin laundry was great. We enjoyed our 7-night stay. Highly recommend.

​Had a great stay at The Sultan Heritage Hotel with my three kids. Special shout-out to Arfa for her exceptional service.

On our first night, we had an issue with the air conditioning, and Arfa was incredibly polite and professional in helping us. On the second night, she was just as helpful and made sure we had enough blankets to stay comfortable.

Her excellent service and kind attitude made our family stay much smoother. Thank you, Arfa!

Pros:

Front desk team was so lovely. It was nice to see the same friendly lady every day. Layout is so interesting for this property, felt almost villa like. I came for a bike race so a ground floor property was INCREDIBLY convenient. Would happily stay here again.

Mattress needs attention ASAP

Nice feeling to the place, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

Cons:

Had to report that there was a sharp end of a spring sticking out of my side of the mattress. It stabed me in the leg when I sat on the bed. Locked like it had been like it for a long time. Quite Dangerous. Hopefully the management will replace the mattress ASAP.
