Beautifuly chaotic !
Pros:

The view was stunning!! The peaceful and secluded room overlooking the lake ahead was wonderful, being on a sacred mountain surrounded by history.

Cons:

The lack of facilities in the hotel (due to renovation) we ate at the sister hotel, the breakfast service was very chaotic and slow, the breakfast itself was nice.

It's a beautiful location, very nice staff, we had a room with a view and a porch to sit out and enjoy the relatively cool weather
the bead was good
There is a parking space for guests
A very good breakfast, we prefer more fresh vegetables

Cons:

The shower is for small people, but you can manage.
Please include a kettle, milk, tea, and coffee in the room so you can sit and relax in comfort.
Italy is known for mosquitoes; we had our share too.

Super mooi oud hotel alsof je terug in de tijd gaat met een grandioos uitzicht. we zouden 1 nacht verblijven maar waren zo onder de indruk dat we 2 nachten zijn gebleven.

Fantastisk utsikt och en fin liten by.

Cons:

Rummen saknade luftkonditionering/ventilation, lite myror i hörnen och en ej fungerande minikyl.
När vi kom fanns ingen personal på hotellet och ingen svarade när man ringde utan det bara ringde i receptionen. En varuleverans kom samtidigt och han visste att de hade ett ”syster hotell” några hundra meter bort och lyckades få kontakt med personal som kom till hotellet.
Frukost serverades på ”syster hotellet” och den var okej. Vi åt middag på samma hotell och det såg fint ut men var katastrof dåligt. Dyrt och tre avsmakningsmenyer som lät gott men köket kunde inte leverera.
Den vegetariska menyn var smaklös och dålig konsistens på alla rätterna.
Den ända rätten som var god av våra 12 rätter var kyckling balotinen

Un cauchemar en arrivant à cet hôtel !

L'hôtel est en travaux de rénovation , équipements manquants non conforme au descriptif sur BOOKING a l'arrivée la réception se fait à l'hôtel Albucan a100 m ainsi que le petit déjeuner , à l'hôtel Colonne , la télé ne fonctionne pas , sans télécommande , le réfrigérateur fuit ,pas de bouilloire ,pas de coin cuisine , pas de prises de courant aux chevets du lit .

Cons:

En fait en réalisant toutes les lacunes ,nous pensons que la présentation est mensongère dans le descriptif et présentation , indigne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles , nous sommes étonnés que Booking propose cet établissement !

Wir werden ganz sicher das Hotel in diesem Jahr wieder besuchen.
Pros:

Da das Hotel, bzw. die Küche im Moment im Umbau ist, wurde uns offeriert in einem anderen Restaurant zu essen. Da uns das aber vorher mitgeteilt wurde und durch sehr persönliche Betreuung und durch eine perfekte Mahlzeit mehr als wettgemacht wurde, ist dieser Umstand nicht negativ zu bewerten.

Don’t stay there till they have finished refurbishing the hotel

The views were fantastic. Pleasant reception.

Cons:

I am a single lady of over 80 travelling back to Tuscany from the UK in my car. My booking was accepted and then later in an email I was told that the hotel was being refurbished and there was no restaurant for dinner or breakfast and we had to go off to another hotel to eat. The hotel had a horrid closed feeling and not even a bar or anywhere to sit.
I took the dog down into the garden. This was all overgrown and some of the steps were highly dangerous and crumbling.
I think that it is appalling that I was not told about the refurbishment when I booked. I certainly would have booked elsewhere
Also a really incredibly hard uncomfortable bed ( also this needed refurbishing!!)
Personally to take €117 for this booking was quite wrong.

Pros:

Det var ekstrem vær når vi bodde der i 2 dager. Vi skulle gå i fjellene. Det var bare å gi opp det. Tett tåke styrt regn og kraftig lyn og torden. Vi fikk gått pilgrims ruten den var helt fantastisk sammen med kirken og alle små gatene. Vi spiste også en 8 retters på restaurant Colonne har aldri smakt bedre mat. Det var helt fantastisk.
