The areas affected are the main entrance, lobby and reception, with work also being undertaken in some accommodations wings. This will also affect access to the rear car park of the building. I booked on the day on my phone and the room I thought I had booked with a nice sized room and full kitchen was not what we were given. The shower was awkward to get into and out of, especially as my friend had not long had knee surgery.

The location is fantastic. The first and 2nd front desk people were great. Helpful and super quick with requests
Our first room, the water was pouring out of the AC unit down the wall on to the TV and table underneath, making some of our stuff wet. The shower was leaking all over the bathroom. And the room smelled mouldy and musty.
We asked to be moved, and this was done really quickly. However the list of bad outweighs the good
-room smelled mouldy and musty
-had blinds for window coverings so when the sun was up we were too. Literally not an ounce of light was blocked out by these blinds
-the AC made this horrible noise every hour or so
But the absolute worse part was the bed. I would of slept on the floor if it was clean. Both me and my husband had the worse sleep of our lives in this bed. I wish we complained about it the first night, but since we had already moved once..
Finally the buffet breakfast. Just to top the weekend off.
-all of the trays were empty and took 25mins to refill
-still after waiting for over 35mins there was still no bacon brought out
-pancake station is a great idea in theory, however id prefer if the pancakes were cooked.
-the flat white I ordered was a great Latte. Defs not a flat white.
- the floors of the restaurant were dirty and looked like they hadnt been cleaned.
Over all it was a terrible stay, which is really disappointing as the place has so much potential and money has been spent to make the lobby and restaurant look great.
On check out, I did mention to the front desk person that the bed in that room is absolutely terrible, and all said was "ok. Sorry" but didnt seem to actually care..
So yeah, overall I wish I could have my money back, but that wont happen.

The staff that I interacted with on the premises we're helpful.
I booked a room via booking .com with two double beds but got a room with one double bed.When asked I was told I was 1 person.
2.There was no lampshade next to bed so had to put up with bright light in room.Walls were black.
3.Had to get off bed to put off

4.Step into shower was pretty high.Fell really unsafe as nothing to hold on to in getting in or out.Literally had to jump out of shower not step out as step was high and nothing to hold on to.
5.Carpets were frayed .Visible from bed and shutters looked dirty.Made me feel uncomfortable
6 Exceptionally noisy in early hours of morning coming from street below.Called reception was allowed another room .Had to walk quite a bit so struggled to get back to sleep.New room far better : had a lampshade, was brighter, had tissues and other things you usually find with hotel stay compared to first room.
My question was why knowing my first room was in a noisy part of hotel was I not allocated the second room which was quiet in the first place??????.The second room looked like a hotel room.Whilst the first felt liked I was in some shady place but because it was accomodation just for the night and I was quite tired I was trying to be tolerant.

The hot water went out one morning and I had to have a cold shower before going to work.
There were very noisy guests in the rooms next to me very loud in the hallways at 2.30 a.m

Parking was available, close to the centre. They allowed me to check in early.
No hook on the back of the bathroom door for my clothes. Cold water on the shower mixer was opposite to what I thought it was. The showerhead had little movement.
