Amazing employees with a great location!!!
Pros:

The staff is always happy and smiles on their face. They make you feel at home. Victor at the check in desk has been checking me in for 10 years now …. He does a great job and they are always helpful

Great location
Pros:

Great location, close to the malecon and beach.
Room was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was good.
Housekeeping cleaned everyday which doesn't happen often anymore!
Room door had dead bolt and chain for security.
Loved that there was a fridge in the room!
Would stay here again

Cons:

No hot water for showers and the shower drain was very slow, ended up in ankle deep water at the end of the shower.

Pros:

Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel. Las habitaciones son amplias y bastante cómodas. Todo muy limpio y el personal es sumamente amable. Está muy cerca del malecón y es una zona muy bonita, tranquila y segura. Además el desayuno está muy rico y variado.

Affordable. Friendly, comfortable, close to activities and shopping.

Very centrally located. Walking distance to the malecon (one short block); lots of restaurants to eat at; close to the Rio Cuale flea market; staff for superb and courteous gracious & service with a smile always; the suite also has a bar fridge which really helps when you have leftovers from restaurants or beer you want to keep cold.

Cons:

There were nights when it was rather loud because of people below and partygoers coming home at night or early morning. Just be sure to bring earplugs. The Wi-Fi was spotty unless you were in the lobby where it is really fast.

I had a great stay at Hotel Porto Allegro in Puerto Vallarta and would happily rate it 5/5.
The hotel is very clean and perfectly located in the Zona Romántica, just a short walk from the Malecón and the flea market, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The breakfast was another highlight—generous, tasty, and a great way to start the day.
Despite being in a lively and sometimes noisy neighborhood, the hotel itself is relatively quiet, which I really appreciated. The staff were consistently kind and welcoming. A special mention goes to Victor at the front desk, Enrique, and the ladies in the kitchen and dining area—they truly made the experience even better.

Cons:

Honestly, there’s nothing I found bothersome. The only minor point is that my room didn’t have a balcony, but it wasn’t a significant drawback.
