Friendly helpful staff. Relaxing stylish decor, great service. Food very good. Homely feel.
I liked everything
We had dinner on the evening that we arrived. The food was top quality, well presented, and served by friendly staff.
The room was immaculately clean. It had charm and there were lots of little touches that felt welcoming. For example, the lights were on, gentle music was playing, there was a fancy selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. All the furnishings were new, as were the towels and bedding.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn't be more helpful.

The price of drinks
Very nice hotel, specially for the reasonable price. Friendly staff. Although the room was small, it was quite luxurious with Nespresso machine as well as kettle and tea and coffee. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The breakfast was very good, well worth paying extra for. The cooked items were served individually.
Nothing really.
Great service from reception, breakfast, and check out. Room is clean. I feel like home and safe staying here. Location is perfect. Easy access to the train station and restaurants nearby

The hotel is nicely decorated and furnished and has a real homely feel when working away.
The overall experience was excellent and the staff are super friendly.
We will definitely be retuning when in the area.

I’ve stayed at another Coaching Inn hotel in the past so knew what to expect. I wasn’t disappointed. The decor is stylish and charming with a mix of traditional and modern. The bedrooms and the public areas were all very comfortable, quiet and cosy. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and very approachable. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious. We were lucky enough to find parking at the hotel but there is plenty of parking nearby for those who are not so fortunate. The location is perfect - town centre and 5 minutes walk from the Castle and other attractions.
There was nothing I disliked.
Fantastic location, welcoming staff, beautifully renovated room with personal welcome note. Very thoughtful. Plenty of condiments in the room and delicious food from the restaurant. Would stay again.
Had to wash someone's elses hair out of the bath, staff not always available at reception desk would be in for a little wait. Room was pretty warm as I stayed over on a hot day so a fan in the room would have gone a long way. These are the only downsides, but would still recommend this hotel.
Old building with charm but very clean

Good location, decorated beautifully, helpful staff and dog friendly ❤️
Air on would have been nice, but we did have a fan.
