Ok place but wouldn’t go back
Pros:

Grounds are beautiful but place did not have a good feel to it . Bacon was overcooked and eggs not really cooked properly either morning . Just feel like it missed the mark.

Cons:

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and I struggled to get my suitcase up the very narrow stairs and the door was so stiff to open that I struggled to drive home due to the pain in my back.

Aucune mauvaise surprise et un très bon séjour de 2 nuits en plein coeur du parc national Snowdonia
Pros:

•Entre l'hôtel et la maison d'hôte, nous avons été reçu pour 2 nuits au coeur de Snowdonia avec énormément de générosité et de sympathie de la part de Jane et sa fille, toujours disponibles et souriantes.
Le petit déjeuner servi est excellent. La chambre est spacieuse et plutôt confortable. Le lit est parfait.
L'établissement est absolument magnifique, et le personnel propose une visite des différents lieux de vie commune à disposition des clients (bar, salons, bibliothèque...). C'est un endroit très calme propice au repos et aux randonnées. Le wifi fonctionne très bien dans cette zone où peu de réseau est disponible. Si vous aimez la simplicité et la générosité, foncez au Sygun Fawr Country House, vous serez parfaitement reçu. J'ai aimé les explications sur l'historique de l'établissement dans le carnet d'accueil des visiteurs.
Toujours plaisant de découvrir l'histoire d'un si bel établissement.

Cons:

Quelques axes d'améliorations pour vous rapprocher encore plus de l'excellence (mais bien sur cela n'enlève absolument rien à la qualité de cet établissement) :
- la gestion des commandes du petit déjeuner me semble un peu complexe
- la chambre n'avait pas été chauffée avant notre arrivée tardive, il a donc fallut attendre quelques heures avant d'avoir la température souhaitée
- nous avons trouvé une araignée et un autre insecte dans la salle de bain : aucun problème avec ça pour nous, surtout à la campagne, nous les avons accompagnés vers la sortie, mais j'imagine que certains visiteurs peuvent être plus regardant sur ses détails
- je n'ai pas été gêné par cette arrivée par cette étroite route de campagne, cela fait parti du charme de ce séjour à Snowdonia, en revanche l'arrivée nocturne mériterait peut-être un peu plus de lumière : rien d'exceptionnellement dérangeant encore une fois, juste une solution pour une expérience non pas exceptionnelle mais fabuleuse.

The rooms were clean and cozy and I slept so well.

Nothing! The driveway was a bit narrow but there is ample parking at the guesthouse and we were used to the narrow roads by then.
