Pure joy and a wonderful treat.
Pros:

Beautifully furnished and decorated at every turn. Friendly helpful staff, and the food is delightful. Fabulously comfortable bed and a beautiful room with a picture perfect village street view. We love coming to The Bear and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic. Would make special effort to return.
Pros:

I had travelled from Northern Irelad to purchase a car nearby and had booked my stay on a whim, needless to say i was more than pleasantly suprised. The Bear Inn exceeds all expectations. The Staff are polite, friendly and obviously take great pride in their work and workplace.
Their ethos, that they are part of their village community is reflected in their pricing and welcoming attitude.
Their food is incredible, well thought out and presented.

I can honestly say there was a not a negative aspect in relation to my stay, my meal or my interactions with staff

The Bear Inn was full of character in a lovely village. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and were very friendly. Food was exceptional.
