I am writing this review in detail because I believe parents travelling with children should know exactly what they may be dealing with before booking this hotel.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com on my mobile phone. I specifically searched and filtered for accommodation with a swimming pool while travelling with a child. This hotel was presented to me as a suitable option, so I booked it.

After a long drive, I arrived with my son, expecting exactly what I had searched and booked: a hotel where we could use the pool.

From the moment we arrived, however, I had the impression that the fact that I was travelling with a child was already considered a problem.

During check-in, I was informed that the pool/wellness area could only be used by guests aged 16 and over. I was asked whether I was aware of this. No, I absolutely was not.

I therefore asked the receptionist to show me where this very important restriction had been clearly displayed during my mobile booking. I even handed her my phone so she could show me.

She could not.

Eventually, she showed me on the hotel’s desktop website that the restriction could be found hidden under “Important Information”, which requires an additional click. More importantly, the receptionist herself acknowledged that this information unfortunately does not appear in the same way on the mobile version.

For me, this is a crucial point.

If a customer searches on a mobile phone for a hotel with a pool while travelling with a child, the hotel appears as a suitable result, and an essential age restriction is not clearly visible during the booking process, then I believe it is reasonable to expect the hotel to at least show some understanding when the guest arrives.

Unfortunately, that was exactly what was missing.

I calmly explained that I had travelled there with my son specifically because of the pool and asked whether there was any alternative solution.

No.

I then asked for some form of goodwill.

The location was great. close to the beach.

Cons:

It's a dated hotel. some staff were friendly and helpful and some were not willing to help at all! The cleanliness level was very low. despite asking for cleaning service, they did not show up and at the end of the day we were asking the staff to take the garbage out! It did not meet our expectations at all. the breakfast menu was very limited and it was exactly repeated through the days.

Cons:

Zimmer wurde für eine Familie mit 6jährigem Kind von Booking.com empfohlen. Der Zutritt zum Schwimmbadbereich ist erst ab 16 erlaubt, da es sich um ein reinen Nacktbereich handelt. Das war bei der Buchung nicht sofort offensichtlich sichtbar. Das ist eher ein Fehler von Booking.com.

Ontbijt was slecht.pistole's waren plat ,croissants niet krokant ...volgens de kok moest je die zelf maar in de toaster steken ....dat is voor mij geen vers Ontbijt. Wij hebben er 1x avondeten gegeten ook dat was niet oke,zalm met groentjes en een aardappel, die kon ik niet wisselen met frietjes,aardappel was niet gaar evenals de groentjes waren niet gaar echt niet te eten .
Er was een Wellens ook hier hadden hotelgasten geen gratis toegang 😦

Séjour relaxant en bord de mer

La propreté, la gentillesse du personnel, le petit déjeuner et le cadre, le parking extérieur et intérieur , la proximité de la plage.

Cons:

Vergleichsweise ist man bei einem 4-Sterne Wellness Hotel einen besseren Standard gewohnt.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war gut und das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage direkt am Strand

Cons:

Wir haben ein Apartment gebucht mit Küche und diese Küche war leer. Kein Besteck, keine Teller, kein einziges Glas. Geschirr muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden (30€ pro Tag!!). Auf Nachfrage und Beschwerde haben wir für 4 Personen einen Topf, 2 Teller, 2 Gläser und Besteck bekommen.
Fahrräder sind nicht inklusive und müssen für 28€ pro Person pro Tag gebucht werden. Es gab gefühlt 15 Fahrräder für die ganze Anlage und natürlich alles ausgebucht. Wir wurden vom Personal zur Nachbaranlage geschickt (20min Fußweg), um dort Fahrräder auszuleihen, weil sie angeblich eine Übereinkunft haben. Dort angekommen wurden wir verdutzt abgewiesen. Zurück im Fletcher Hotel haben wir das Feedback weitergeleitet und abgesehen von leeren Gesichtern an der Rezeption keine weitere Hilfe erhalten.
Weniger auf das Hotel und mehr auf Booking.com zurückzuführen ist die Kommunikation rund um das Spa, das textilfrei ist. Auf Booking.com haben wir das im Nachhinein im Kleingedruckten vom Kleingedruckten gefunden. Auch hier fallen Extrakosten von 19€ pro Person pro Tag an für den gesamten Spa Bereich und nicht wie erwartet oder auf Booking.com einsehbar nur für spezielle Wellness und Sauna Angebote. Zudem fallen für Handtücher, Badeschlappen und Bademäntel NOCHMAL zusätzliche Kosten an.
Bei einem 4 Sterne Wellness Hotel haben wir bessere Konditionen und besseren Service erwartet.

Alles was schoon, mooie kamers en sfeervol.

Cons:

Voor ons was het niet duidelijk dat de kinderen nergens konden zwemmen in het hotel. Dit was een beetje een domper. Daarop hadden we hem eigenlijk net uitgezocht. Bij zee en toch met zwembad.
