uitstekende locatie, grote kamer, bedden waren goed ( 2 kussens wel aan de zachte kant), uitgebreid ontbijt (er werd heel goed rekening gehouden met coeliakie!!! ) met liefdevolle bediening (Engelstalig). Net ontvangst (Engelstalig )
We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de spa, wel gekeken om een afspraak te maken voor een behandeling helaas was dit niet meer te boeken dus op voorhand regelen.( www.sanctumspa.nl )
Eerste indruk was toch wel gedateerd, foto's op internet waren beter dan in de praktijk. Achterste gedeelte waar het ontbijt is, is nieuw en modern. Onze kamer was helemaal bovenin, er is een lift maar laatste 12 treden moet je wel zelf nemen ( evt met koffer). Wel rustig daardoor! De kamer laat gebruiksschade zien, gordijn die niet omhoog gaat, beetje smoezelig koord. tov de kamer kleine wastafel meubel (weinig plek voor je toilettas) er is een klein bureautje waar de koffie opstaat. Een fijn klein bankje zou het complimenteren.

Veel buiten geluiden (bas dreunde van waarschijnlijk een café of zo). Smorgens vroeg wakker door buiten geluiden. (Vracht) autos en de kerkklokken.

This is an old European hotel so the floors are a bit creaky, but that's part of the charm.
De plek is geweldig en de uitstraling kamers erg mooi. De ruime kamer is ook fijn.
Jammer dat je moet bij betalen voor de spa. Ik verwacht voor die prijs dat het er bij inzit. Zou ook de meerwaarde van het verblijf verhogen.
