A stunning stay and the gem of our trip!
Pros:

Hotel Gran Baita was truly the gem of our trip. When we arrived, the hotel upgraded our room, which was such a lovely surprise. The whole hotel was stunning, and the room had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the pool, restaurant, and bar teams. The cleaning and maintenance were also excellent.

I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant, as the food was amazing, and please do not miss the breakfast, it was also fantastic. Our room also included a free day at the pool, which was perfect since the temperatures were very high and we had planned a rest day.

We are so glad we stayed at Gran Baita, and it is definitely one of the reasons we would consider coming back to the beautiful town of Courmayeur.

Hôtel sympa, mais pour un 5 étoiles à courmayeur il y mieux.. cela reste correcte.

Attention au spa privé dans la chambre delux car c'est en faite plus une mini piscine que spa car l'eau est à 30° et pas de bulles.

Cons:

La disponibilité pour choisir un des resto (le gastro) pas pu réserver une table alors que je dépense 700€ la nuit + les suppléments.. Dommage.!

Charming Alpine Retreat with Excellent Service and Dining
Pros:

Gran Baita is a charming Alpine hotel in Courmayeur, beautifully located at the end of the Aosta Valley and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. The property combines traditional mountain style with many thoughtful details that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant is excellent, offering gourmet-quality cuisine, and the half-board option is highly recommended. A special mention goes to Vanessa, whose professionalism and friendliness stood out throughout our stay. Even during the busiest periods, she always had a smile and a kind word for guests.

The wellness area is pleasant and well maintained, but it feels somewhat small for a hotel that positions itself as a wellness resort. In summer, the large outdoor lawn and relaxation areas provide plenty of additional space. In winter, however, when many guests return from skiing at the same time, the spa area could become crowded.

Another point to consider is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. During warm summer periods, rooms can become quite hot. Unfortunately, keeping the windows open at night is not always ideal, as the road leading to the Mont Blanc Tunnel runs directly behind the hotel and remains busy even during nighttime hours.

Overall, Gran Baita offers excellent food, attentive service, and authentic Alpine charm. With a few improvements to the wellness facilities and summer room comfort, it could easily be a five-star experience.

Pros:

Very nice hotel with a pool and spa. Restaurant (La Sapinière) had fantastic food. Service was efficient and friendly. We had a large room, very quiet and comfy bed. Conveninent for hiking as the shuttle bus stops in front of the door. We will come back
