First and not the last time to stay again
Pros:

As most review has mentioned, the overall hotel surrounding gives off a Senior Grand Classic Hotel feel once step into it. Ceiling was high and area was spacious. Yes, it may have run its journey since 2008 and brings you back to the days where hotel look and feel grand in every aspect of image. But dont be concern that room may b old and run down, in fact to my surprise the room was clean and also spacious with all the hotel room thingy available all in which many newer hotels has scraped it now. Like not providing iron board, toiletries...etc. The room though is carpeted but it felt clean and there was no stained smell and stepping on it FEELS new too which meant it must hv been swell maintained or vacuum regularly. Next, the pool was big enough for lap swim and it was wonderful. The gym was spacious and equipment was abundant. There was also a good spread of food for Breakfast and staff clearing the plates was almost immediate. The location wise...it is a 8-10mins downhill walk to KSL or a RM$6 grab ride. But due to its location..it is also not as crowded as in staying in KSL

All in all, the stay is good for a short layover. Not a place i would recommend for a vacation.
Pros:

Only thing I liked about it is the location.

Cons:

The air conditioner were poor. Even set it at its coldest and we were still having trouble sleeping.

The toilet was clean but old. The tub and toilet bowl had minor chips and scratches.

Breakfast was okay. Not a wide spread but does the job. Only thing about it is that there were no staff to usher us a table which made it seem like I was at a coffeeshop standing around looking for a place to eat.

value stay near ksl
Pros:

located near ksl. room was quite large and aircon was cooling. bed was comfy. can view almost the whole jb from the 20th storey.
