very nice staff
There was no food available. Need a restaurant in house. Sent over to the Sheraton for breakfast. The bartender placed our order. Terrible service, basically not familiar with food service. Food was horrible. Avocado toast & coffee for two was $60 and it wasn't even fresh avocado, just avocado sauce.
Very sad experience: everything was already paid for by my company, but the lady at the front desk refused to process my check-in (at 9:30 PM). I just moved to the Sheraton next door, and they are fine. The Westin Huntsville is very different and professional.

Staff was very friendly and helpful
We stayed at the Westin, which was the host hotel for the Talladega Jack Links 500 group organized by On Location. It’s considered one of the top hotels in Birmingham, The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The location is a big plus—right in downtown, making it easy to walk to nearby downtown attractions and several good restaurants just steps away.
Our room was spacious enough for comfort, and the bed was perfectly fine for a good night’s rest.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Birmingham.
Nice centrally located hotel. Room was clean. Nice gym and concierge lounge available at the Sheraton next door. Platinum member impressed with the level of service from Will at the front desk.

The proximity to the venue was perfect. The beds were super comfy
It was a one night stay therefore I wasn't there long enough to get a feel for the facilities
The hotel is dirty. My room had carpet stains, mold on the furniture, and the hall way smells of cigarettes and marijuana. The bar and restaurant are only open at night, so plan to eat and drink off property during the day. The TV in the room is very small compared to today’s standards. There is one person at the check in desk on a busy Friday afternoon -so expect to be 8-10 people deep in the wait line- regardless of your Marriott status. This is not a typical Westin Hotel property.
We had to wait 30 minutes to get our car from Valley parking. Our room was never serviced towels were never refreshed and garbage was never emptied. We requested more towels and toilet paper but no one ever responded.
Location
A little dated for the cost
