North Cliff Hotel has a two night minimum on holiday weekends.
Early check-ins cannot be honored. Check-in time is at 15:00.
Out of state ID accepted and or proof of travel required.
The extra bed that can be added for a child is an air mattress.
The property does not offer a lift, and many rooms only have access via stairs. Guests should request a parking lot level room if they have difficulty with stairs.

The view of the harbor and the ocean

View was amazing , staff was friendly, overall good experience.
The internet was very spotty couldn’t get on half the time and even when I did super slow. Good thing I was on vacation and not having to work . Parking was hard with a full sized vehicle.
View, staff, cleanliness. Room layout, pillows, fireplace.
The bed seems to lean like it needs more support on the edge. The sound of the Fog horn can get annoying, but that can't be helped.

View: The view from our room was spectacular. We could see a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean from both the balcony and the window - absolutely beautiful.
Room: The room was comfortable, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus.
Breakfast: It was a simple grab-and-go setup with coffee, muffins, and instant oatmeal packets. It was fine, but we mostly had breakfast at Home Style Cafe right across from the hotel. They have many better options.
Final Note: Before booking, I was worried about the foghorn noise, but it was not an issue at all. Once the balcony doors were closed, we could barely hear anything. The hotel was very peaceful and provided the much-needed break we were looking for. The staff was also wonderful!

The steps up and then down to our room. Inconvenient with luggage.
The view was spectacular! The room and view far exceeded our expectations. A really good dinner place with great views and food was a short walk away.
Beautiful location and appointments except the bed was too much. Trying to fall asleep was hindered by the sensation of being in the middle of a stuffed animal. Once I peeled off blankets and pillows I was finally able to sleep. Fog horn was barely noticeable. We left the curtains open all night with no issues.

The bed was so uncomfortable. Like the top of the frame or top supports were broken or something. There was a huge dip in the mattress

The view and room set-up. Very nice stay!
The room was sparkling clean. No kidding! Beautiful view as you walk into the room. Nice patio with chairs and a side table. The sliding glass door even had a screen. Get the fresh air in without any bugs .We did not hear any noise from inside. The property is on the entrance to a cove. We were able to walk down a path to the waters edge. In the lobby was a very nice light eats and coffee for breakfast. The Wolfgang Puck coffee is very tasty. Staff were happy and seemed to love where each worked. We loved this property. A hidden gem for sure.
The only thing we didn't like was whoever was on the third floor above us must have had kids. Running back and forth until about 9:30. Outside of that , nothing else was to dislike.
