The location is good and makes for a good base to explore Pittsburgh. There are numerous restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. Overall the neighborhood is quiet.
The grouting in our shower needs to be cleaned. Approximately 15 to 20% of the shower grouting is dark or black with either mold or mildew. It took me 2 minutes to clean the two areas in the pictures below with moderate scrubbing using an old toothbrush.
Although the body wash soap was full, the pump did not work, thereby rendering it useless.
The parking is on the ground floor and very limited. I do not believe there is enough parking if every room is filled. On our last night there was not one space left and 2 non-parking area were also utilized by compact cars that had no where else to park. It is normal to double park in the garage and leave your key behind in case your car needs to be moved for another car to leave. There is a $30.00/day parking charge.
Close to everything. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Room was more spacious and clean than expected. We especially enjoyed the environment and food of breakfast.

The clean atmosphere the room was wonderful I plan on returning soon. It was my girlfriend birthday she loved the room as well.
It was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing, I can't explain that ppl have to go enjoy, what you like it all especially the equipped kitchen!!!
That on Saturday a lot of stuff wasn't available because of a wedding but that wasn't a problem at all either, but the worst was the toilet was too low 🥺

We were visiting Pittsburgh and found this hotel in Expedia.. we were looking something closer to the downtown and there were very less hotels with a swimming pool.. we chose this because it had a pool.. slightly expensive though .. about $180 per night!!
The area was really good.. lots of restaurants and coffee shops next to it.. The room was also very comfortable… bed was comfortable . Restrooms were also neat. They had a bar in the first floor… and also a gym and swimming pool.. chicken process was slightly slow but OK.. parking facilities were good, but the parking lot was a bit narrow.. overall a good experience.. They had a TV with some good channels . Internet WiFi connection was good . 4 stars.

The view and location are very good. Right next to the river and Hoffbrau Haus.
The staff was rude and unprofessional. I had a $200 hold put on my credit card for incidentals even though I was a Hyatt member. I asked the hotel lobby attendant to remove it because he told me he made a mistake, but he said it would have to be done by someone else the next day. I asked if I should check to make sure they did it and he said no. This did not sit well with me, as it was his mistake. There was also no hot coffee in the lobby or complementary water. They ran out of cups for the water with lime in it and seemed perplexed that they needed to monitor that station. Those tables were not clean. The breakfast was not great and very congested as there was only one pot of coffee for the entire hotel. We asked for room service every day of our four night stay and was told no problem. The maid came once and did not come back any other days. I called again and was told we can only have maid service every three days! What? The guy I talked to had an attitude and told me he would "try" to get us service. I said, "so are you telling me we will have service tomorrow or not?". He said "I told you I would try. Why are you still on the phone?" This is not customer service. These are flunkies who haven't been trained to do their jobs running a Hyatt in a ig city. How does this happen? Luckily, my son is moving and we won't have to stay here again. The hotel room was bare bones industrial with hard floors and thin carpet. We had to get our own towels and soap from the maid cart and make our own beds.

My room was very clean and had everything I needed. Each staff member I spoke to was kind and helpful. They always greeted me very politely and were happy to answer any questions I had. I had a great stay
The only thing that wasn’t great was that the parking spaces are very small and parking is tight. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff is very kind and helpful
