Great overnight stay. The rooms were very spacious & comfortable. Parking is limited outside, parking is actually indoors in the garage. Park in garage first then go check-in..

Our stay exceeded our expectations! The hotel was spotless, the room was incredibly spacious, and having a full kitchen made it feel like a home away from home. Everything was well-maintained, and we appreciated how comfortable and functional the accommodations were.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.

The location was another highlight. We felt completely safe walking around the area, and there were plenty of excellent restaurants just a short stroll away. If you're traveling with a dog, this hotel is especially ideal. There's a large dog park directly across the street, and a scenic riverside trail behind the hotel.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, pet-friendly hotel in a great location, this is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Pros:
*Recently renovated and nicely decorated
*Better than average breakfast, including hot options
*Very cool area with restaurants and shops
*Our room was quite large, and we had a good view
*Very clean and kept up - recently renovated doesn't always mean it's still in good shape!

Cons:
*I just can't get over the parking situation. Current price is $22 per night, and it is extremely limited. Parking against the back wall means double parking - if you're the back car, they ask that you leave your keys at the desk so they can move your car to let the back car out if necessary. Parking is also super, super tight - my Honda Pilot didn't have a lot of room. We gave up the 2nd night and just paid to park across the street.
*We were not told at check in that there was no daily housekeeping, and there's no note in the room. I don't care about the beds, but I do like having clean towels. A heads up would have been nice.
*The elevator from the ground level to lobby/elevator to the rooms didn't work. So you have to lug your luggage upstairs. Our son also has a knee injury that makes stairs difficult and painful, so that was very unfortunate.

The room by far exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully decorated, updated, and very clean. Parking was relatively easy compared to hotels in the area, and if you have to park tantum, they will valet your car (included in the parking rate). I brought my dog, and the room did NOT smell like prior pets. Plus, there is a dog park next door. Breakfast was as expected, but always fresh and plentiful. They also have a bar and food menu - the pizza was surprisingly good - which stays open until at least 10pm (definite plus). Last but certainly not least, the staff was AMAZING - very friendly and accommodating. Side Note: We were there during a wedding, and I really never thought of a hotel as much of a wedding venue, but it's definitely something to consider. I could see the ceremony from my hotel room, and it was beautifully decorated and waterfront! (And the noise level was not disturbing, even for a sleeping baby). May be a place for future brides to consider....

The location is good and makes for a good base to explore Pittsburgh. There are numerous restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. Overall the neighborhood is quiet.

The grouting in our shower needs to be cleaned. Approximately 15 to 20% of the shower grouting is dark or black with either mold or mildew. It took me 2 minutes to clean the two areas in the pictures below with moderate scrubbing using an old toothbrush.

Although the body wash soap was full, the pump did not work, thereby rendering it useless.

The parking is on the ground floor and very limited. I do not believe there is enough parking if every room is filled. On our last night there was not one space left and 2 non-parking area were also utilized by compact cars that had no where else to park. It is normal to double park in the garage and leave your key behind in case your car needs to be moved for another car to leave. There is a $30.00/day parking charge.

Close to everything. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Room was more spacious and clean than expected. We especially enjoyed the environment and food of breakfast.
