Authentic charm and good service in a unique historic hote
Pros:

It still has much of the charm of the original hotel and offers something unusual in an otherwise very dynamic modern city. The staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet restaurant offers a wide selection. You can choose to stay in the new part of the hotel or the original building.

Cons:

The furnishings in our room were a bit tired and the bed is quite hard. It just misses a beat where it could be more comfortable. It is good value but I would prefer to pay a bit more to have a slightly higher quality stay.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur from 22 June to 28 June 2026.

The rooms were luxurious, spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job every day, keeping our room spotless and well maintained.

All the hotel staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The ambiance and overall vibe of the hotel were elegant, peaceful, and truly memorable.

The only suggestion for improvement would be the dining experience. The food prices were a bit higher compared to other hotels, and complimentary breakfast or other meal options for long-stay guests would be a great addition.

Overall, we had an excellent experience and truly appreciate the hospitality of the entire team. We highly recommend The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur and look forward to staying here again.

The lobby feels royal yet welcoming and the layout of our room is incredible too

I had such a great experience! The staff were all so kind and welcoming. I requested a birthday decoration, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. They even surprised me with a complimentary cake!!

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The service was excellent from start to finish, and it was definitely worth every penny. I’ll definitely be coming back every month. Highly recommended! ❤️

Heerlijk verblijf in historische grandeur
Pros:

Mooie historische grandeur met veel karakter en eigenheid.
Bovendien erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, erg lekker eten (ontbijt en dinerbuffer), goed ingerichte ruime kamers.

Cons:

De aanbevolen after-noon-tea bleek voor ons te veel ‘membership’-achtige sfeer.
De ‘smoke room’ stamt natuurlijk uit andere tijden, maar een fijne bar waar niet gerookt wordt zou welkom zijn.
