From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. The historic building is exceptionally well-maintained. The rooms are clean, spacious, and offer a beautiful view from the window. The staff is highly professional and friendly.
There are no shops or commercial facilities next to the hotel, making it impossible to buy food or drinks. While the night market is within walking distance, the surrounding roads are difficult to navigate.
The location and the cleanliness
The facilities especially pool.
Good location. Nice lobby and restaurant. Room well sized. Well priced and varied buffet meal.
Unable to adjust air conditioning - too cold and needed to turn off at times during night. Breakfast too expensive. Also wifi connection not great.

Gorgeous hotel. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. The breakfast was superb. We are vegans so sometimes it’s a bit difficult but it’s a huge buffet with plenty for us.
There was a piano player a small band in the evening. Very classy we loved it

The hotel is amazing. I booked deluxe king for 3 nights and 2 days, but ive gotten a free upgrade to suite. The room was very spacious and beautiful. All the staffs were friendly, definitely worth my money. The breakfast was delightful, so many varieties to choose from. I definitely would come back again and I strongly recommend everyone to give it a try. Thank you to all the staffs, see you guys soon.

Exactly what you would expect from a 5-star hotel: clean, spacious rooms, very professional and helpful staff, gigantic and delicious breakfast. We were upgraded to a suite and the room was amazing. There is also a swimming pool and a gym.
You can’t really walk anywhere as there is a very busy road just outside the hotel, so we had to taxi everywhere.
The Majestic by name, and by nature. from the moment you walk in until you leave, the staff, and this superbly appointed hotel, will care for you professionally and efficiently. A delightful throwback to colonial styling, I found it ideally positioned to get around - accepting the usual traffic snarl ups in rush hour. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The breakfast buffet was incredible, with special mention to the fabulous roti station. The entire staff (with special mention to the door staff) were unflappable and friendly. It was a genuine pleasure to come back to the hotel and I don't think my stay in KL would have been half as good without such a great base to go from.

Ok, the roof garden and the pool were a *little* bit tired and the outdoor shower was out of service.
But the water was cool and refreshing and there were plenty of loungers and towels.
Loved the overall luxury, the room size (we had deluxe king rooms) and the view from one of the rooms. The breakfast was amazing - so many choices! The pool was lovely too.
Location. It is close to the city so if you are happy to always travel by car or Grab it is great, but due to the position next to busy highways it was difficult to walk to places. There were no places to eat or pick up groceries close by. This was the only negative though.
