Clean and fairly well equipped room. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Bar area lacked atmosphere and disappointing to learn the only outside terraces were specifically for smoking ! Breakfast room very small and guests had to join a “waiting list” if no table was available. Breakfast was good but overly priced in my opinion. Room didn’t work very well for me. Nowhere to plug in the hairdryer and use a mirror at the same time ! Clean and comfy though which was the main thing. Tea bags and coffee pods weren’t replenished and we had to ask for more supplies.
The hotel is a boutique hotel. The service is outstanding. The bar is quite small but intimate. The concierge, the drivers, the restaurant staff and the bartenders are all excellent and go out of their way to make sure you're staying is enjoyable.
I have to say it's been quite some time since I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice standard, good renovation and materials. The common spaces is very good, small in size so feels private
Staff is trying to help and support to their ability
Definitely a place I will come back too
Beautiful hotel with wonderful customer service. Beautiful room with a wonderful view of Hyde Park. Everybody in the hotel was warm and friendly and even gave us rides to places we needed to go. My only complaint is that there is a cigar lounge and the smoke permeates through the hotel. Every day when we came back, we were hit with a cigar aroma. That wasn’t very pleasant. That would be the only drawback I found otherwise wonderful experience.
A fantastic experience. The staff are warm and attentive. The guest rooms and common areas are beautiful.
It was an amazing experience I was really taken care of by PANTELIS
EVANGELOU and the was room incredible… I have no choice but to stay here when I’m in London!

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Wellesley Knightsbridge in London and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and attentive hotel experience in an exceptional location. The setting in Knightsbridge is perfect—quiet yet central, with easy access to everything London has to offer. Our room was beautifully appointed with incredibly soft linens and towels that smelled divine, excellent amenities, and an overall sense of comfort and elegance. The butler service was a standout, taking care of every detail we needed and ensuring our stay was seamless and relaxing from start to finish. What really made the experience special, however, was the staff. Each day we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the team, who consistently went out of their way to anticipate and meet our needs. Their hospitality added so much to our overall experience and made us feel truly looked after throughout our stay. We would especially like to acknowledge the breakfast team, and in particular an incredible woman from Brazil who led the restaurant service. She brought such warmth, care, and positivity to every morning and truly set the tone for the day. Her presence made a lasting impression on us, and we are very sorry to have forgotten her name, as she deserves full recognition for the difference she made to our stay.
The only minor drawback was a noticeable cigar smell in the hotel lobby, which slightly affected that particular area. However, this did not take away from what was otherwise an outstanding experience. Overall, The Wellesley Knightsbridge is a remarkable hotel with exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and a team that truly cares about its guests. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel opposite Hyde Park.
The hotel personnel is absolutely great and took care of me on every single interaction.
Kudos to the GM and his team as they are all top professionals
This is not a non--smoking hotel because cigar smoke from the smoking room seeps into the elevators, upstairs hallways, and all of the rooms on the main floor including reception. It caused me to have several asthma attacks during our 4-night stay.
We loved our room but had to go to another hotel nearby to have a drink after dinner and could never eat in the restaurant.
Exceptional location with an accommodating and attentive staff.
I went to the hotel bar for a quick drink before going out for dinner. I asked 2 glasses of white wine to the barman. He suggested the Pouilly Fuisse to which i said ok, little did I know that he suggested the most expensive white wine by the glass of their entire wine card. Result: GBP 130 for the 2 glasses. Out of curiosity i checked the market value of that particular bottle (2023) and it showed 90 quid! They charge £23 for a glass of Veuve Cliquot and that costs 55/60 in a shop. When I complained to the food and bev manager, zero apology abt the barman's stunt, zero justification for the 65 quid per glass. I wont set foot in that hotel ever again!

Our stay at the Wellesley Knightsbridge exceeded our expectations in every way - the staff were superb and very friendly- the accommodations were very comfortable - the concierge staff were experienced and very knowledgeable- Juan went out of his way to ensure all of our requests were met with personal attention - the breakfast staff were simply amazing
Our cigar and cognac experience at The Wellesley was, without question, the highlight of our entire trip. While I’m the cigar enthusiast, my wife found herself enjoying the evening just as much as I did—something we didn’t necessarily expect, and a true testament to how thoughtfully the experience was curated.
Danilo, your cigar aficionado, is an exceptional asset to the hotel. He began the evening with a detailed tour of the humidor, guiding us through the selection process and helping us choose cigars perfectly suited to our preferences. His depth of knowledge was evident at every step, and his engaging personality and natural sense of humor made the experience both informative and genuinely enjoyable.
He elevated the evening further by pairing our cigars with exceptional scotch and cognac, and thoughtfully explained how certain sweets can enhance the flavor profile of a cigar. He then brought out an array of accompaniments—including chocolates, ginger crème brûlée, and cookies—which added a unique and memorable dimension to the experience. To finish, we were treated to a delicious port wine that capped off the evening perfectly.
What could have been simply a luxury indulgence turned into a truly memorable and personal experience. Danilo’s professionalism and charisma left a lasting impression, and we sincerely hope he receives the recognition he deserves.
We both agreed that we would gladly return to The Wellesley—not only for the hotel itself, but specifically to enjoy this experience again.
Wonderful experience from the moment our taxi pulled up to the time we left. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at the curb and escorted to the reception desk. The 2 young ladies there were also very welcoming and nice. Since we were early, they called as soon as our room was ready while we walked around London. The room itself was very clean and cozy with all the amenities including a nice hairdryer, robe and slippers. The bed was also very comfortable. We had made reservations for the Cigar and Cognac experience that the hotel, offers and I highly, highly recommend it!! Danilo was a wonderful host and very personable. My husband, who is a cigar and whiskey enthusiast, thought he was quite knowledgeable and commented that he would do this experience again. Even though I’m not much of a cigar and cognac connoisseur, the ginger crème brûlée, chocolates and olives that came with the cognac tasting were amazing and I would gladly pay for this experience again.
We had a wonderful stay. Not only were the rooms beautiful and clean, the staff was exceptional and accommodating.
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Wonderful experience with impeccable service and attention to detail. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Close to many sights and shopping.
Complimentary breakfast included with our stay and so tasty. One of the best cappuccino I’ve had during our travels.
