Mir ist nichts Negatives aufgefallen. Es kommt vielleicht ein bisschen in die Jahre.

Mit Stil und Atmosphäre
Pros:

Zimmer mit Stil und Atmosphäre. Mit Geschmack und ohne großen Schnickschnack eingerichtet. Viel Platz, super sauber. Unschlagbare Nähe zur Insel-Park-Arena. Besser ging es nicht für unseren Konzertbesuch direkt nebenan.

Gerne wieder!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt an einer Autobahn und Gleisstrecke. Gut für die Verbindung. Deshalb war ich dankbar ein zur anderen Seite gelegenes Hotelzimmer zu erhalten. Hat bestens geklappt. Sehr ruhig - offenes Fenster gerade im Sommer - herrlich. Toller Holzduft im Zimmer und ganzen Hotel. Großzügiges Zimmer, zwar keine Kaffeemaschine und kein Kühlschrank, dafür im Erdgeschoß kühle Getränke erhältlich. Bisschen älter geworden das Haus -aber immer noch toll gepflegt. Parkplatz war öffentlich nebenan, und das war machbar. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal - vielen lieben Dank für alles. Dieses für Hamburg außergewöhnliche Waldhotel war klasse! Gerne wieder.

Cons:

Die Beschilderung hätte etwas leichter sein dürfen zur Anfahrt. Zumindest zur Vorfahrt.

die absolute Ruhe beim Schlaf, nachts offenes Fenster kein Problem, Nähe zur S-Bahn

Cons:

Statt der Winterbettwäsche, wenn schon keine klimaanlage dann doch wenigstens Decken für den Sommer und nicht die dicken Bettdecken, Frühstück absolut unorganisiert, ein riesen großes Haus und beim Frühstück muß man Schlange stehen

Besonderes Hotel außerhalb des Stadtzentrums.
Pros:

Das Raphael ist etwas Besonderes. Das Thema Wald ist hier bis in jedes Zimmer hinein präsent. Parken im benachbarten Parkhaus ist problemlos (außer bei Schietwetter). Das Frühstück ist O.K. Für Hamburg ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Dass man nachts mit offenem Fenster ruhig schlafen kann, ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Die Lage auf der Hafenseite vereinfacht die Anfahrt zu Terminen in den Werften bzw. im Hafen.

Cons:

Für den Stadtbummel ist man auf den ÖPNV oder das Auto angewiesen. Fußläufig gibt es kein vernünftiges Restaurant. Das hauseigene Restaurant war nur wenig bis gar nicht besucht -,die Auswahl auf der Karte lies mich ebenfalls abprallen. Durch den angrenzenden Inselpark würde ich nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit nicht mehr gehen wollen.

Pros:

Das dieses hotel sehr naturbelassen ist.

Cons:

Im Sommer bei fast 40 Grad keine Klimaanlage und das Fenster ging nur zum abklappern, das war nicht so vorteilhaft.
