The room had a strange smell as soon as I entered. On the second night, the elevator smelled strongly of vomit, and that smell was still there the following morning.
The biggest issue, however, was the room itself. On my first night, it was unbearably hot, so I called customer service. I was told the windows couldn't be opened until the following day due to "security reasons" despite the room being on the fourth floor. Since there is no reception or staff on-site, I had to rely entirely on phone support.
I called multiple times and was repeatedly assured that someone would open the window while I was out the next day to improve the airflow. When I returned for my second night, the window was still closed, the room was still around 30°C, and nothing had been done.
The only solution I was offered was to collect fans from a supply room. Unfortunately, the room is so poorly designed that there are no practical power outlets for them. The only available socket was above the bed, so I had to move the beds around and place the fans on top of them just to make sleeping remotely possible.
What makes this even more frustrating is the complete lack of service. An unmanned hotel can work well, but only if the customer support actually follows through on what they promise. In my case, they didn't. I contacted support several times, requested a refund, and was promised action that never happened.
Even at this price point, this experience was well below what I consider acceptable. I've stayed in hotels across more than 15 countries, ranging from budget accommodation to luxury hotels, and I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I've had.
I cannot recommend staying here.
