Miserable stay; incredibly noisy road, barely a 2 star hotel.

Advertised as a 3 star but barely passes as a poor 2 star hotel.
Later we discovered it was a 2 star hotel before Ibis took over.
There were no smoke detectors in the rooms.
Incredibly noisy road made it utterly impossible to sleep. The noisiest hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay at and I've been travelling to France for over 30 years.
Other 3 star Ibis hotels we've stayed at had air-con and modern decor such as Granville and Calais.
This hotel is beyond basic and should be rated a 1-2 star at best.
The bedding brought my husband out in a severe rash which compounded our misery.
Furniture was tatty, scuffed and scratched.
Having recently had surgery I needed to used the lift....it has to seen to be believed.
The staff failed to mention that early evening you need a code to access the hotel.....hence I was locked out and only that another kind resident let me in I'm not sure what I would have done.
My advise avoid; we certainly will in the future.

JE n'ai pas du tout aimé qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation et que ce ne soit pas indiqué de l'achat jusqu'au check in. Dans ce type de chaine, on ne s'interroge pas sur la présence de cet équipement

Le séjour aurait été très bien s'il avait été possible de prendre une douche…
Pros:

Situation. Bâtiment Auguste Perret. Chambre confortable et déco un peu inspirée du style poque Perret. Salle petits déjeuners.

Cons:

Salle de bains entièrement à revoir . Robinet du lavabo mal fixé et branlant. Lunette des toilettes mal fixée.
Douche : eau brûlante même en mettant le mitigeur au minimum, évacuation presque bouchée : le réceptacle de douche se remplit en 30 secondes et la douche déborderait dans la salle de bains si on poursuivait. De toutes façons il était impossible de prendre une douche vu la température de l'eau. Et on était en canicule !

L'emplacement près du volcan et de l'hôtel de ville.

Cons:

Pas de climatisation en pleine canicule. Mauvaise literie. Résultat peu dormi. Personnel peu informé sur la ville.
