Great location friendly staff nice food

Cons:

Showers not the greatest regulating the water temperature was a struggle & although clean the shower looked old and dirty . For the cost of the hotel I expected better.

Pros:

Location right next to the airport. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Breakfast could be better. Dinner, they were out of their signature dish but friendly staff helped manage the dissappointment.

Is ok but could be higher standard given the price
Pros:

- Very good breakfast
- Great location
- Good gym just next to the lake with view over the lake

Cons:

- Price is high given standard
- Bathroom needs upgrading - e.g. only top shower and no hand-held option is not really ok at this price level
- Kids playground and pepsi umbrellas visually ruin the "victoria lake lodge" feel

Beautiful historic hotel right on the water
Pros:

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The rooms are spacious and the balcony views are wonderful. The staff are fantastic and very attentive. I would certainly stay here again.

Cons:

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel, though it was a bit noisy at times because of construction work. The hotel is older, so it's showing its age in some ways. But the staff were very kind and offered to intervene if the noise was too much. I wouldn't let this stop you from coming to this lovely place.

Airport pickup up came in handy after a long flight and arriving in the middle of the night. Beautiful view of lake Victoria, nice pool to relax on the hot day. Breakfast was excellent and customer service was great 👍

Great location
Pros:

Great location on Lake Victoria 3 minutes drive from airport complimentary airport shuttle pickup. The grounds have a very relaxing feel looking at the lake, very friendly staff and good food at the restaurant.

Slow service
Pros:

Average is the fitting word, service was very slow, we're actually waiting for the check while I'm writing this review. This is the only hotel ( over 3 weeks) that did not welcome us warmly with a briefing and some refreshments. On the second day,
when we came back at 2PM , the room had not been cleaned and we had to call to request it. The power outage did not help. Here I'm still writing and still no check...
