An Elegant Escape on the Water
Pros:

Was one of the most peaceful and beautiful stays of our trip. The lake views are stunning, the atmosphere is calm and refined, and the entire property feels effortlessly romantic. Waking up beside the water and having breakfast overlooking Lake Orta was unforgettable.

Pros:

The location was wonderful

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable, the water wasn’t hot enough for the 2 person bathtub. The LED blue lights all over the bedroom shined in one’s eyes while trying to sleep. The dinner that both of us had at the restaurant was literally awful and very expensive. The $500 room did not have a picture on the wall or an area rug making it feel very stark and cold.

A Dream Stay on Lake Orta 💙
Pros:

It exceeded our expectations. Stunning lakeside location, elegant rooms, amazing food, and a calm atmosphere perfect for relaxing. The staff was incredibly kind and professional, making every moment feel special. One of the most beautiful hotel experiences we’ve had in Italy.

The hotel setting is beautiful.

Cons:

Service was not great. We never received any instruction on how to avoid the ZTL until we called as we were entering the town. When we arrived at the front of the hotel, there was no where to park and no one to direct where to go so the car in front of us just stopped in the middle of the drive, got out and went up to the front desk, leaving us unable to move until someone finally came down several minutes later and instructed the one in front of us, and us, to follow them to the parking garage. Upon arrival to the front desk after dragging our luggage from Parking Garage B to the front desk, the scene was chaotic. 3 people working behind the desk. They seemed more worried about stapling receipts to receipts and something on the computer than checking guests in.
Once checked in, we headed to our room. Room was small, which isnt a problem, but it was also dark. Walls needed paint. Shower was smaller than a phone booth. Door opens directly into the toilet.
Breakfast was mainly continental style. Cold items like bread, fruit, cold cuts, etc. You could order from a menu but that was an extra cost. There was no self serve coffee station. No server ever formally greeted us so there was never an opportunity to actually order coffee. Instead, we had to flag a server down and ask for it.
Our visit was not a 4 star visit.

Pros:

Terrible experience the room was dirty and damp, floor by door rotten.
The whole hotel was dismal they said it was an eighties vibe but obviously nothing has been updated since then . The bar was soulless no soft furnishings or plants cold tiles.
Poor night sleep due to room being damp. The restaurant staff unhelpful unwelcoming when we asked to take a look at the restaurant with view to see if we wanted to eat there. We didn't.
We did ask to move rooms which they did accomadate it was slightly better. It was supposed to be a special holiday. We were so disappointed.
Breakfast basic, and again the lady that was serving was in welcoming and chewing gum!
The whole place needs a make over, staff moral and standards need much improvement.
I wrote an email to the manager with my concerns , they haven't bothered to reply.
I think they rely on the location

Cons:

Ausstattung zum Teil in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem Bad dunkel, klein und unpraktisch, in Bar ewig gewartet auf Service sowohl zum bestellen als auch bis Getränke kamen, obwohl kaum Tische besetzt waren, eher Gefühl von Masse statt Klasse, Dienst wurde vor allem nach Vorschrift erledigt, zum Restaurant selbst können wir aber nichts sagen

Hotellets läge är fantastiskt vid vackra Lago d'Orta. Men mht kostnad var förväntningarna högre.
Pros:

läget var fantastiskt - hade vädret varit bättre hade det säkert påverkat vårt intryck mer positivt. Personalen var tillmötesgående och serviceminded - men med olika kapabilitet för sina jobb.

Cons:

restaurangen levde inte upp till förväntningarna. maten var inte bra - tillkonstrad. vi har ätit mycket bättre på vår Itlaienresa för väsentligt lägre kostnad. priset på hotellrummet var inte heller i proportion till upplevelsen.
