Nice location, easy check in and nice building.
The service was warm and attentive, the food was good, and the pricing offered fantastic value. Our room was spotlessly clean, featuring a lovely four-poster bed and an excellent shower.
The accommodation is quite old and quirky, which may not suit anyone looking for a sleek, modern layout, but it didn't detract from our stay.

A typical small town hotel with lots of history which is not earning enough for thorough maintenance and cleaning.
It's a nice hotel. The staff are polite and helpful but not particularly welcoming.
Our room was pleasant , modern, with a stylish bathroom, but it could have done with a little boost cleaning wise.
Breakfast was good but the choice was quite limited. Cereals but no muesli, juice but no fruit and a very nice full cooked breakfast plus toast.
Evening there is good bar food at reasonable prices.
BUT our room was on the second floor and there is no lift. The stairs would be tricky for non nimble people.
Finally, we are smokers. The area outside is designated smoking, but is not cleaned properly. Cigarette buts everywhere (shame on other smokers) plus general muck not brushed. Ash trays not emptied and nowhere to empty them. Dog owners seem very welcome, but are smokers?
The rooms were clean a good size. The bathroom was lovely. It was everything I needed.
I didn’t like walking up the stairs because I have suffered wrap problems so that was a bit much for me but it wasn’t too bad cause I wasn’t. I was just on the first floor.
The location was great for us. We ate in the hotel and it's a nice friendly place to eat

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wirklich schönen Gebäude mit viel Charme. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Badezimmer war gut ausgestattet und hat uns gefallen.
Insgesamt war das Hotel für unseren Aufenthalt völlig in Ordnung. Allerdings merkt man an einigen Stellen, dass die Innenräume inzwischen etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Eine Renovierung würde dem schönen Gebäude sicher guttun. Im Badezimmer hätten wir uns außerdem ein paar zusätzliche Handtuchhalter gewünscht.
The location for us is what we needed, and we have stayed before and last time loved the buffet breakfast. Its easier for me as I like a few eggs in the morning.
But now they have a little menu and you choose. And that part I will cover in the didnt like.
However, the coffee pot was nice and hot/
Staff are helpful and the pint of sanmiguel very good.. Shops less than a minute away.
A shame the buffet breakfast wasnt on, and when asked why, he said we dont do it if not busy, They were fully booked as couple were refused a room the night before.. so... not nice lying to me. It could change if we return.
TV to small for the room.
Absolutely lovely place and the staff are great so helpful and always happy to help. The food was exceptional 👌 breakfast was lovely and the evening meals wow so tasty and reasonable prices I would recommend this place 👌
The only thing that I can complain about was the bed. So uncomfortable, we didn't sleep and was awake every hour due to the mattress 😫 but that is the only thing.

Booked 3 rooms . 1 room was not very clean. A lot of mould in bathroom and springs sticking out of mattress.
The area and the family room was great I went last year and iv been back this year and planning on going back soon we loved it

It wasn’t clean. The whole ‘hotel’ needs a complete deep clean and refurbishment . The moment you walk into the reception area the atmosphere brings you down. The carpets are filthy the woodwork has not been cleaned in a very long time.The bedroom was only ok. The shower room had been recently upgraded but painting a plastic hand basin unit and toilet backing was not an upgrade it was a ‘make do’ decision and the wrong one.
