We celebrated our anniversary here, but management failed to respond to legitimate concerns
Pros:

The housekeeping staff delivered an impeccably clean room, the front desk team was welcoming and professional, and the checkout valet (when we left) was efficient and courteous.

Cons:

The contracted valet made a rude remark about us during arrival, the bathroom exhaust fan was non-functional, and the breakfast staff yanked items I was reaching for and prevented us from eating together. Most concerning was management's complete lack of response to my professional feedback emails. It is a shame that there are some working so hard while others are compensated for doing less than nothing to manage training and satisfaction.

I like the location, it’s close to the shopping area, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The room is a decent size, and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is also a nice plus. I didn’t use it myself, but I imagine it’s very helpful for families or anyone who has the time and prefers to cook. The staff was also nice and smiley.

Cons:

The biggest issue was the housekeeping. I stayed for 6 nights, and my room was cleaned only once during that time. I checked in on Sunday and had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door on Monday, which I completely understand. However, on the following days there was nothing preventing housekeeping from cleaning the room, yet it was only cleaned on Thursday. There was also a card in the room stating that housekeeping would be provided every other day, so this was quite disappointing.

Another major issue was getting my invoice. I requested it more than five times throughout my stay. I asked when I made the booking, again when I checked in, and at checkout I was told that I would receive it by email. Several days have now passed, and I still haven’t received it. I also made a few other requests through Booking.com and the hotel’s website, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive a response to those either.

A few smaller things I noticed:

The iron in the room wasn’t very good. It leaked water and didn’t work particularly well.
The TV only offers screen sharing from a device, so there’s no direct way to use apps such as Netflix.
I tried to plug in my Dyson (hair styler), but the outlet didn’t seem to provide enough power for it to turn on.

Good base of operations for a weekend in Raleigh
Pros:

Check-in was easy, staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet. It all went smoothly.

Cons:

Only (very minor) quibble was that the toilet kept running -- had to jiggle the handle. We reported it at checkout.
