Mon séjour de 4 nuits au Mandarin Oriental de Canton a été globalement très agréable.
Tout d’abord, l’hôtel est idéalement situé, avec de nombreux commerces à proximité et même un centre commercial directement dans l’hôtel, regroupant toutes les boutiques de prestige.
À notre arrivée, nous avons cependant été un peu surpris par l’accueil de la réceptionniste, qui semblait se demander ce que nous faisions ici. Étant venus pour la Foire de Canton ainsi que pour visiter des usines, nous avions choisi de porter des vêtements confortables. Lorsque nous lui avons indiqué que nous avions réservé deux chambres, son attitude a complètement changé. Je trouve cela dommage de juger les clients selon leur apparence.
Le petit-déjeuner est parfait et très complet. Les chambres sont impeccablement propres, et le service de ménage passe deux fois par jour. La femme de ménage était d’ailleurs très gentille, discrète et professionnelle.
Seul autre point négatif : la même réceptionniste lors de mon check-in. J’avais oublié ma carte dans la chambre et, à cause de la fatigue, je me suis trompé de numéro de chambre. Elle semblait très agacée et m’a répondu d’un ton assez sec.
En revanche, je tiens à remercier les concierges, qui ont été extrêmement gentils et serviables avec mon problème de valise. Malgré ces quelques points, le séjour reste une belle expérience.

Had an exceptional stay at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou. The level of service was truly outstanding, especially from Catherine from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail easily made this one of the best hotel experiences of our entire trip.

Having also stayed at Rosewood and previously at Four Seasons, I can honestly say the service received here stood out the most IMO.

Another worth mentioning was the Michelin 2 star-restaurant on the 3rd floor — absolutely amazing dining experience with excellent food. Def for someone who wants cuisine that’s above and beyond the best.

I highly recommend it for anyone looking for true luxury hospitality in Guangzhou. And we will definitely return.

Breakfast, location,…all perfect

Absolutely loved my stay at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou! The hotel’s decor is so elegant, sophisticated and timeless—even after all these years, it still feels incredibly refined and upscale, never outdated. Shoutout to Mia for her warm, thoughtful service and lovely attention to detail; made the whole experience even more wonderful! Will definitely be back.

I always make it a point to stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou whenever I’m in the city for business or a short stopover—and for good reason.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of service. I would especially like to recognize Cora, who has been incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She consistently goes above and beyond to accommodate every request with efficiency and care. It is largely because of her outstanding service that I continue to choose this hotel time and time again.

I also have to highlight the Executive Lounge. The book selection reflects a remarkable sense of cultural depth and thoughtful curation—an impressive detail that speaks volumes about the hotel’s taste. The scones are excellent as well. From service to the smallest details, the overall experience is consistently impeccable.

Highly recommended.

Old and smelly rooms - not what you expect from mandarin orientale

I stay for Canton fair, very satisfied with accommodation and breakfast, special thanks to Mia, Cynthia Joelle and Nick. Will recommend definitely!

Venus & Rita is an outstanding bartender, very solid cocktails, made cocktails for us although it’s almost closing time, explained the whole mixture to us, superb service and very engaging

Came here yesterday for some food and the experience was so pleasant I came back again today. The waiter yesterday was fantastic (didn’t get his name) and Ymir Yuan this evening was again fantastic!

Anyone visiting or living in the city must come and try this place.

For the quality of the food and the service the price is incredible!
