Good comfort hotel and extremely friendly staff
Pros:

It was lacking in choice no continental apart from dried out cheese slices and only yoghurt in a bowl from which in different locations I’ve had food poisoning would have expected individual pots

Absolutely thrilled we discovered the River Island Hotel in Castleisland, if you get a chance, book!
Pros:

The River Island Hotel was absolutely stunning! The service and food exceptional, excellent value and such a great location to explore County Kerry! You cannot go wrong with staying here, the locals are all lovely as well, be sure to pop into the pubs next door and the antique shop across the street!

Not a thing - except maybe if I could have stayed longer!

Pros:

Muy acogedor, el personal es muy atento.

Cons:

El desayuno tardaban mucho en reponer lo que se terminaba. Desayuno un grupo grande antes de bajar nosotros y faltaban varios productos, avisamos al personal y tardaron mucho en reponer.

Love this hotel
Pros:

Have stayed here twice in the last 3 months and recently arranged an after funeral meal for 32 people. At all times the staff have been excellent. The food is very good and well priced. The service is brilliant, efficient and very personable.
We will be back. A very comfortable hotel and easy to get to other parts of Kerry and further afield.

Pros:

Biggest kip I’ve ever been in, possibly the worst staff I’ve ever experienced food was absolutely chronic along with special requests to meals not being adhered too whatsoever I’d advise anyone who even think of coming to this glorified dump to stay as far away as possible. I walked in the door and once being seated it was 34 minutes before my order was taken along with the food coming before the drinks order.

S**t show start to finish, 25 mins after being seated before anyone came to our table to take a order, not sure what was written down as order came out completely f**ked up, must’ve been her first day, starters came before our drinks, terribly ran, brutal staff
