The room was clean.
The bottle of the body-wash was empty and the kettle was so dirty.
Conveniently located on Queen St and outside noise generally quite minimal. Friendly helpful staff.
Room was unclean when we arrived, rubbish and hair in bathroom and toilet, food splattered all up kitchen wall and onto ceiling, belongings from previous guests found in random places, broken dishwasher with dirty items in and very bad smell when opened, and not even a plug for kitchen sink to be able to hand wash dishes?! The kitchen bin was broken, it was poorly equipped with very few dishes etc not enough to go around the amount of guests, aircon/heating not functioning properly and the one in the main bedroom made ridiculous loud noises all through the night and leaked onto the bed, a maintenance man who spoke no English came to look and could not do anything to fix it so we just had to put up with it and had minimal sleep during our stay. Was offered another room to sleep in, in another smaller apartment, but would have meant leaving our children in the original apartment alone which I was obviously not comfortable with. Mould on all windows. Really disappointing.

It is located at the top of Queen St in the CBD with bus stops within 100m & many convenience stores nearby. It was well appointed with tea/coffee making, a fridge & a safe & windows that opened to outside to allow fresh air.
The price and location were both ideal for our stay. The bus services suited our needs for visiting our daughter in the west.
This is a very personal response, but we found the bed too soft. This is because we have a firm bed at home, but I'm sure that soft mattresses suit some people.
Advertised as satellite tv but advisdd only local stations very disappointing as have stayed many times and to be told was was blatantly a lie was poor service I simply was given a very small room with no remote (eventually obtained) and no satellite tv so advertised incorrectly and faced watching religious tv and poor local choices….
Always great breakfast and perfect location and will keep staying but will monitor room given and tv station availability in future
