Ok but not great
Pros:

Great location, very convenient to uni, food services and town center.

Cons:

Quite noisy at night time with other guests in the hallways.
The cleaners don't check under the beds unfortunately, there were old towels from previous guests, beer cans and general rubbish.

A decent, no-frills hotel in a great location. It's within easy walking distance of the CBD.

probably the most disastrous budget hotel ever encountered
Pros:

Cons:

Entire building was old and in desperate need of renovation.
The hotel is also a hostel for university students, who have exclusive access to the kitchen on the ground floor, while the hotel guests could not use it
Room was also very old and looked nothing like the illustrations shown during booking; room had poor insulation and could hear the guests in adjacent rooms.

Accidentally left my watch in the room during checkout, emailed reception twice to enquire about lost watch and they did not bother replying; needed me to personally call them before the evening staff informed me to call again to speak to day staff
needed to call the reception multiple times the next day before they could answer my calls; pretended to check with cleaning crew whether they had found my watch, and needed me to call multiple times again before they could finally inform me in writing that they did not find my watch....... or did they?
