After many collective hours of researching accommodation options on Santorini, my wife and I made the easy decision to book a three-night stay at Theoxenia Caldera Hotel, and within an hour of having checked in, it was obvious we had made the right choice.

Manager on Duty Chris has a great wealth of knowledge about Santorini, and he provided us with advice on things to do (and to avoid), and well over a dozen recommendations on restaurants, points of interest, etc.

The service we received from Chris, and afternoon manager Alex was truly outstanding…we didn’t ask for much, but when we did, nothing was too difficult for either of them. Thank you Chris, ad thank you Alex!

Our room was on the top floor, with a wonderful view (see photos) of Santorini (all the way to Oia) and the Caldera.

The room was spacious, very clean and well maintained. Most importantly, the bed was comfortable, and there was a choice of pillows, with the soft one being perfect for me – so much that I wanted to take it with me, but resisted the temptation to do so.

Breakfast was served to our room daily. To call it a “Continental Breakfast” would be an understatement, because the variety of items on the tray is extensive: orange juice; fresh fruit (pieces of apples and oranges); Greek yoghurt; boiled eggs; cake; spinach and feta pastry; bread “to die for”: crispy crust, soft and warm inside. There was too much food for my wife and me, so we requested more fruit, no cake, and no eggs.

Andreas picked us up and dropped us off at the Ferry Port, taking the heaviest two bags off us, and taking them up all the stairs to our room, then down again when it was time to check out. For both ease and convenience, it was well-worth the price we paid for the transfers. Thank you Andreas!

Excellent location with a sea view. Right in the center of shopping and eating places. Outstanding professional and friendly staff. Good breakfast delivered to your room. Highly recommend this hotel. They arrange transportation to and from airport upon request and help carry your luggage to your room.

Central location in Fira. Very close to the bus and taxi station

Very nice room. Lovely shower, towelling robes, comfy bed, terrace with great view. Help with the walk from taxi to the hotel, map provided and directions to a nice taverna.
Very lovely views of the cliffs and white houses. Can get breakfast in your room and on the terrace if not too windy.
The town is very expensive but ok for a night. Some nice Santorini wines

La ubicación y el personal excelentes...siempre pendientes de lo que fuera necesario, el último día nos fuimos muy temprano...y nos acercaron un desayuno por fuera del horario. El balcón tiene unas vistas increíbles.

Alex was so lovely and really helpful, collecting us from the taxi drop off point, offering to walk us to the bus stop in case we got lost, as well as ensuring the taxi was all in order the night before our departure as well as a arranging a last minute catamaran tour along the coast of Santorini. The other hotel staff were also very nice, one member even gave us binoculars to look out over the coast on the roof while having our breakfast! The room was perfect for our three day stay for three people, clean and central, the breakfast was simple but lovely. Brilliant location on the main thoroughfare of Fira.

Excelente opción si vienes a Santorini. Excelente ubicación, vistas hermosas desde la habitación y balcón. Inmejorable experiencia, nos recibieron previo a la hora del check in y nos dieron un desayuno de bienvenida y el día que nos fuimos, como era muy temprano, nos dejaron desayuno preparado. La atención en recepción no pudo ser mejor, experiencia inolvidable.
