Our Go To overnight stay location in Duluth
Pros:

This has been our primary stop as we travel through the area. Love the ambiance of downtown Duluth and the staff was great. Repeat customer!

This place is a good place to sleep and go to where you need to.
Pros:

It’s quiet and family friendly. No one complained so far about my children running around in the room. I always try to be thoughtful and tell my children to not run but they’re kids so it’s not always going to be quiet time. Sorry in advance if my kids were loud.

Cons:

It didn’t have much to sit on but it’s still clean so it’s ok.

It was ok. I do t think it was a deal.
Pros:

It is not far from good things to do in Wi and MN. You have lots of place around you at all price ranges for food as well.

Cons:

The room was ok. They were a little rundown and the bed was not very comfortable. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom but we had our own. And breakfast options were very limited the first day. , the first day breakfast was very basic, bagels and cereal but the second day they did have waffles and more fruit.

This place isn’t a bargain. Spend 100$ up, have 10x better stay, even if it’s a pit stop in Duluth
Pros:

Nothing besides it’s close to Lake Superior

Cons:

Cleaning of room, dude at the front desk never his teeth. Was so bad you could smell it in the lobby before he even spoke to you. Rooms are not as advertised online, I was expecting better for the price.

Dated, needs some polishing, good starting oint for North Shore day tripping.
Pros:

Room was small, clean and quiet. Bathroom sink was very sluggish to drain, almost stopping. Breakfast area needed attention, tables and food area not cleaned up. Opted not to have bkfst there after the first morning. Check out was easy, done on line. Location is good for a jumping off point for North Shore day tripping.

Clean but seemed a bit unsafe
Pros:

The room was pretty clean. There was a sign up encouraging guests to lock the deadbolt...and the deadbolt was broken. The front desk person made a couple of odd comments that made me a bit wary. Continental breakfast was okay, no hot food. Overall, stay was okay, but it didn't feel like the safest place.

It is a clean, quiet, budget friendly hotel in a nice location.
Pros:

Budget friendly, nice location, clean, quiet, very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Fridge and microwave in the room.

Cons:

It was what I expected for a budget friendly no frills hotel. Small, cold-food breakfast (bagel, yogurt, cereal). Shower head wasn't the best.

Its an older hotel that hasn't been updated much, but generally in decent shape - no frills.
Pros:

Location was accessible to many of the venues/locations we were visiting, and on the Marathon course for cheering (our main purpose for traveling). The view of the lake was nice. The shower had great pressure and nice shower head!

Cons:

The bed was very firm and the pillows very small. For a room with king bed, king pillows would have been nice.

It’s still a good value, but it almost isn’t because of the shabbiness of the property

Cons:

Everything about the property is shabby, worn, carpets and needing paint, etc. trash by the exit cigarette butts, it just feels so old and worn and in need of an overhaul. It was just like this last year when I stayed at the same time. Breakfast is awful. Sink in our room had been cracked and poorly repaired with some sort of quickset epoxy that looked about as tacky as it could.

Relaxing stay
Pros:

A basic room which was laid out nicely. The little additions like small fridge, microwave, hand extra plug ins, having light switches in predictable places and a responsive new in room hvac made it a relaxing two day stay.

Dated but sufficient.
Pros:

It's not a new hotel, but it suited us for what we needed. Everything worked. For the area, we got what we paid for & we're rested, ready for our trip home.
With no elevators, the tip to park in back to get to our 3rd floor room was much appreciated. Only 1 flight of stairs there.
