Boutique hotel Hippocampus is a hotel located in the middle of the Old town of Kotor, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Please note that some of the guests might find this environment noisy. Music is allowed until 1 in the morning during the high season, and during special events such as carnivals, a few times per year, until 3 in the morning.

Location, as well as the staff and food was amazing.

Cons:

The noisy bar just below the rooms was absolutely horrible. Playing really loud music until 1 am when you have an early flight is not so great. Windows facing the bar are well insulated, but that doesn't help with the bed shaking from loud base.

Such a beautiful little hotel,lovely staff who were so helpful and accommodating and rooms clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Just the noise from the music bars nearby, and for safety reasons a couple of the steps in corridors need a painted line or sign to show where step ends .

The location within Kotor’s Old Town was excellent, offering easy access to the historic sites and a vibrant nightlife scene. While prices were on the higher side, they were justified by the prime setting and overall experience. The amenities were excellent and well-maintained. One small suggestion for improvement would be to prepare the omelette with butter rather than oil, as this would enhance its flavor
