A peaceful oasis.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, small and very cozy, with only five villas surrounding a lovely pool, beautiful gardens and plenty of trees. The atmosphere reminded us of a Japanese garden — very peaceful, calm and quiet. The room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view of the pool. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

Cons:

The atmosphere felt a little more like staying in someone’s private home than a hotel, with quite a strong focus on keeping everything perfectly tidy and quiet. At times, we felt a little watched, which made the experience less relaxed than expected, as I was reminded that leaving my towel by the pool looked “untidy”.

The access is also worth mentioning: the hotel is at the end of an unpaved dirt road, so it was difficult to carry our rolling suitcases. We had to carry our luggage by hand to and from the hotel.

Toller kurzer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort. Perfekte Lage zum Hafen, nicht allzu weit nach Fisherman’s Village und zum Flughafen. Wir konnten früher einchecken, was wir als sehr toll empfunden haben. Gemütliches Bett und ein sauberes Zimmer und Badezimmer, die Einrichtung ist etwas älter aber das hat uns nicht gestört, da diese in einem sehr guten Zustand war.

Bonito, cómodo, buena escala - pero con detalles a mejorar (horarios piscina)
Pros:

El alojamiento está bien. Cuidado, bonito, cómodo. Es útil y cómodo si haces escala entre aeropuerto-ferry o viceversa.

Cons:

Bangrak en sí no es muy bonito. Puerto, y carretera que cruza de lado a lado la zona. No recomendaría a alguien que va unos días a hacer turismo por koh samui, sí por lo mencionado en :)

Luego, un tema importante que condiciona mucho nuestra valoración:
Elegimos este lugar para poder descansar y desconectar en un sitio con pocas habitaciones y piscina. Cual fue nuestra sorpresa cuando a las 17:30 de la tarde fuimos a bañarnos y un señor (el propietario, imaginamos) nos dijo que la piscina cerraba a las 17h y que había puesto cloro, y por tanto no nos podíamos bañar.

Nadie nos había informado sobre horarios de la piscina (habitualmente suelen ser hasta 8-9-10PM)

Pros:

The Nest is a true little oasis on Koh Samui. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, everything is very clean and well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived.
We were also very well looked after throughout our stay. The hospitality was warm, personal and genuinely caring, which made our time there even more enjoyable.
We would definitely be very happy to return to The Nest on our next visit to Koh Samui. Highly recommended.
