Very homely food and atmosphere

Stayed at Courtyard Marriott Trichy recently for a few days.

Check-in was quick and smooth. Mr. Santosh Kumar at the front office was very helpful and gave me a nice room overlooking the pool. The room was clean, spacious, and housekeeping maintained it well throughout my stay. My only complaint would be the bed, which felt quite hard for me as I generally prefer a softer mattress.
It was also nice to see Mr. Raghu still at the reception. He always seems to have a smile on his face and is willing to help guests whenever needed.

The main challenge during my stay was food. I follow a whole-food plant-based diet without dairy or meat. During my first breakfast, I found there were very few options available for me. I was told I could mainly have fruits and a couple of other items, which was disappointing because I had already informed the hotel about my dietary requirements before arriving.
Later that afternoon, I decided to speak to the kitchen again, and that's when I met Chef Arulmani.
Honestly, meeting him changed my entire experience.

He took the time to sit with me, understand what I could and couldn't eat, and assured me that he would take care of my meals. From that point onwards, every meal was specially prepared and tailored to my preferences. Not only did he accommodate my diet, but the food was genuinely delicious. He even prepared plant-based desserts for me, which was a pleasant surprise as I rarely get dessert options while travelling.

I also want to thank Ms. Prabha, the restaurant manager, the young lady with spectacles, the lean gentleman who often assisted during my evening meals, and the rest of the restaurant team. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even when I requested food outside the usual meal timings.

What could have been a frustrating stay because of my dietary restrictions turned into a very comfortable one because of the effort put in by Chef Arulmani and the restaurant team.

Thank you to Chef Arulmani, Mr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Raghu, the housekeeping team, and everyone at the restaurant and front office for looking after me.

I would happily stay here again.

I have stay at the courtyard Trichy several times. I really like how clean and quiet this hotel is.

The rooms are well appointed and have great amenities. I love how spacious the rooms are. The sofa in the room is so great to sprawl in. The arm chair is also so good to relax in. I really appreciate the walk in closet. The king size bed is extremely comfortable and the sheets smell so good. Best part is how quiet the rooms are. I have stayed in a few different rooms.

The breakfast buffet is also fantastic. Very wide spread and the food tastes great. They have a pool we haven’t tried. And a pretty decent gym. It’s usually not so busy. It’s easy to get taxi and to go to all the temples and sightseeing spots. As well as the airport. I like that the hotel is outside of the city traffic.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli.ROOM : 106 Disappointed stay and waste of money to saty this property...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked into the hotel on the 31st at approximately 12:30 AM. From the moment I entered the room, I experienced serious issues. The room air conditioner was not functioning properly, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. Despite repeatedly informing the reception desk about the issue, there was no prompt response or resolution.

An engineer was also informed, but no effective action was taken to rectify the problem. Due to the non-functioning AC and the lack of support from the hotel staff, my family and I were unable to sleep throughout the entire night. This caused significant inconvenience and discomfort, and we were extremely disappointed with the overall experience.

The lack of support and poor response from both the reception staff and engineering team was highly disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Additionally, the overall condition of the room did not meet the quality and comfort expected. This was one of the worst hotel stay experiences I have ever had.

Furthermore, I have not received my booking confirmation details from the reception, nor have I been provided with the final checkout bill despite requesting it. This lack of basic customer service is unacceptable and has added to my frustration

Food is good - special mention to kirthika who served very well - she has got good eye contact and understand the requirement- fills water timely - very good hospitality

Awesome staff particularly Miss Hari Pranav, Karthika, all staff , all levels,very accommodating,understanding, try their most to take care of customers need,looking forward to return and will recommend to all family, friends.
