A convenient stay in a lovely location. Needs some investment.
Pros:

Beautiful building in a picturesque village. Foo (evening meal) was fantastic and the chilled water and free fruit was appreciated.

Cons:

Hot water came out of both sink taps (room 7), shower was grubby and furniture tired/needing repairing or replacing. Venetian blinds at the window let the garden security lights shine into the room which made for a fitful night’s sleep. Little to no lighting in the corridor outside the room.

Solo stop on way to a girlie weekend!
Pros:

Loved the small village just 1 miles off the A34 - great for access to loads of places of interest. Clean, friendly , lovely food ....great 'bits and pieces' in the room - hand made cookies, coffee bags . Unlimited iced water, milk and fruit available for the room

Er ....nothing!!!!

A nice room but so difficult to sleep, we couldn’t open the windows more than an inch. Air conditioning is the way to go

Pros:

Le camere si trovano sopra un pub molto carino in cui si mangia veramente bene. La struttura si trova all'uscita dall'autostrada, in una posizione molto comoda ed è dotata di un ampio parcheggio. L'accoglienza è fantastica, la struttura mette a disposizione degli ospiti acqua, latte e frutta fresca. Sulla porta ogni giorno un biscotto delizioso ad accoglierti. Abbiamo trascorso serata piacevoli nel giardino del pub, cenando e giocando con i giochi da tavolo e con quelli esterni a disposizione degli ospiti. Mio figlio si è divertito molto.

Cons:

Si potrebbero migliorare alcuni dettagli nella pulizia, ad esempio delle finestre. La camera è pulita e anche il bagno.

Staff, food, location and the room was fantastic.
Quizz night was fun. Even if we didn't win.

Cons:

The only thing was the noise of the toilet when flushed. Very strange. But apart from that a lovely stay.

Didn’t put any tea in my room for milk

Friendly staff, terrific food, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful, loved the pub dog! Food in the pub was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. The free water and milk for the rooms were much appreciated.

A welcome break!
Pros:

We were walking the Ridgeway so the location was ideal. It was extremely hot weather at the time. The staff did all they could to make our stay comfortable. They were friendly and despite being very busy, were able to serve us food and drinks.

Cons:

The room was small and extremely hot (not really the fault of the proprietors!). They gave us a fan but it didn't make a lot of difference. We couldn't work out how the shower worked as the controls seemed to be outside of the cubicle. Maybe we were just missing something!
