The rooms were reasonable.
The check in process was very poor and it took 45 minutes to be assigned three pre booked and prepaid rooms. Then the rooms weren’t correct and we had to revisit reception to change one of the rooms. All of the rooms were different and not what was prebooked. The staff were trying their best but it seems that problems with housekeeping schedules had caused delays in room assignment. Then one of the toilets had a broken toilet which wasn’t fixed for a day. The breakfast was nice but it kept running out and one the second day the coffee had to be ordered individually for no discernible reason. No orange juice either. This all seems to be a management issue because the staff appeared to be hard working. We complained on the first day but have yet to hear from them about our poor experience.

The property and rooms were out dated. I had to get the property manager to let me in my room as the bathroom door drifted open and prevented the main door to the room from opening.
The rooms were very clean. Check in was quick and easy. It's a short drive to Main Street. There is a beautiful hiking trail right next to the hotel.
The location was close to everything we needed to get to, we were there for a death in the family.
I didn’t like that they charged for breakfast and if you went down after 8:30, there was almost nothing left to eat. Very disappointing

Upon checkin, I think his name was Jim. Older gentleman. He gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and told us about the free museum in the train yard. We have been to Durango at least 10 times and never knew about the museum. We bought breakfast at hotel and it was a good value. Would come back again
Everyone was super friendly and helpful.
We showed up right on time for check in & the lady told us to come back due to no rooms available & we returned later. Hotel needs more workers/help for sure & also more Luggage carriers/carts. Breakfast not being free also wasn’t wonderful, & the food wasn’t awful but not $10 per person worth.
