We liked the proximity to the Sandhole Oak Barn. Very close so we could walk to the wedding we were attending there. Our room had a big comfy bed and a decent shower.
Just the proximity to the road, so we did hear cars driving past and it’s a fast road.
All of the horse decor. Its photograph doesn’t do it justice. It’s way smarter than the photograph suggests. My accessible room was well thought out and spacious. I loved the decor, it felt luxurious while also being practical. The bathroom was well equipped with practical grab bars and a shower seat. Mirrors throughout the room were at a good height . Someone had thought very carefully about the rooms ambiance for me it was a great balance between luxury and practicality. The bar and restaurant are easily accessed from the main entrance and there is ample parking.
The staff are welcoming and helpful and my full English was very tasty.
Maybe the smoking area could be relocated if I’d been using the wheelchair I’d have found manoeuvring past the tables and beautiful flower baskets difficult.

The pub was lovely, the decor was done really nicely with a good kids outdoor play area. The staff were friendly.
The hotel was on a very busy road, unfortunately when we stayed in one of the rooms it sounded like we were sleeping on top of a road. It was a very hot day so we did initially have the windows open as the room was baking. However even when we closed the windows to try and get some sleep because of the noise it was still very loud as the windows are single glazed. We barely slept.
