Poor experience and did not meet my expectation of Ascott branding.
Pros:

It is located in front of the Spring mall. The room was spacious.

Cons:

1. **Poor front desk service**: Before my arrival, the hotel messaged me to emphasize that all rooms were non-smoking. However, when I checked in at around 10:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, I was assigned a smoking room. When I requested a room change, the front desk staff told me that the hotel was fully booked and suggested that, if I wanted, they could ask the booking platform to process a refund so I could find another hotel. I found this response completely unacceptable. The booking platform still showed rooms available, so they could have offered an alternative, such as upgrading me to a different room type for the night, instead of expecting me to look for another hotel late at night.

2. **Dusty room with a strong smoke odor**: The room was dusty, and there was a strong cigarette smell upon check-in. To make matters worse, I heard a bee buzzing and struggling near the window but couldn't locate it. The following morning, I found it dead on the TV console, which raised concerns about the room's cleanliness.

3. **Poorly maintained kitchenette facilities**: Although this is a serviced apartment, the kitchenette was not well maintained. The non-stick pans and wok were badly worn and no longer usable. The kettle was dirty and rusty. The water dispenser only provided room-temperature or cold water, so I had no way to prepare hot water throughout my stay. In addition, the kitchen sink was clogged, making it inconvenient to use.

Pros:

The room big enough for 2 of us. Very clean. I think the sofa was new. Air conditioner very cool.

Cons:

No extra toilet paper.tissue only put in the toilet. No more toothbrush and soap. Face towel only 1.

Good location, but facilities/amenities can be improved.
Pros:

Location is good, the mall across the hotel has a good variety of stalls.

Cons:

The cleanliness can be improved and the amenities within the apartment can be improved. The kettle wasnt very clean and the utensils/cooking equipment provided wasnt great. The floor was not level as well and sloped towards the top of the bed. Sounds from the corridor can be heard very clearly.

Hotel states that it is a smoke free building but there is actually a level of rooms (Level 4) that has smoking rooms. Do take note that they may assign you rooms in that level even if you stated you want a smoke free room.

A good stay but be specific about your dietary restrictions
Pros:

The rooms were very comfortable. Very clean and friendly staff

Cons:

Booked a 2 bedroom apartment with breakfast. We are vegetarians. I asked the restaurant if they can make anything at all for vegetarian like fried noodles or rice but they couldn’t. So just ate bread and kuihs while others had options of noodles, porridge etc.

Pros:

Goede ruime kamer (slaapkamer apart), redelijk netjes niet het meest modern. Locatie opzich goed. Tussen vliegveld en centrum. Genoeg restaurantjes en aan overkant shopping mall met ook veel restaurantjes. De buurt is niet heel inspirerend. Ontbijt simpel, redelijk Aziatisch maar okay.

Cons:

Geen heel gezellig hotel met lobby of iets dergelijks.
