The hotel staff is very friendly, and the location is excellent and close to the historic city center. In addition to the street-side terrace, they have also cozy restaurant premises located in a quiet side street—perfect for enjoying a coffee in peace.
I really liked the location of the guesthouse. It was quite central, and the room was very clean.
I didn’t like the attitude of the reception staff. The waiting area was small, and the rooms were dark with very high ceilings.

It was very close to the leaning tower, restaurants and shops etc. The tower was easy to find as it was turn right out of the hotel and follow the road.
You get what you pay for so I can’t give a negative.
We had a wonderful stay at Franco’s beautiful residence in Salina. The location is perfect, just a short and easy walk from the center of Santa Marina di Salina, yet peaceful and relaxing.
The property is absolutely charming: the apartments are set in beautifully restored traditional buildings, full of authentic island character while offering all the modern comforts you need, including air conditioning. The swimming pool is simply stunning, with an incredible view over the sea and the surrounding Aeolian Islands — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Salina.
Breakfast every morning was fresh, generous and delicious, with fresh fruit, pastries from the local bakery, fruit juices, coffee and everything you could wish for to start the day.
What really made our stay special, though, was the kindness and hospitality of Franco and his team. They were always friendly, helpful and available, and gave us a fantastic map with recommendations for the most beautiful and interesting places to discover around the island.
We even forgot a towel after leaving Salina, and they went out of their way to send it to us by hydrofoil to another island! A small gesture that says everything about how much they care about their guests.
A beautiful place, a fantastic location and truly exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

La limpieza del hotel dejaba mucho que desear. Habitación sucia, la última noche incluso con hormigas por la habitación.
De ligging was echt geweldig! Ik mocht mijn bagage voor het inchecken achterlaten 👌 Thank god! 1 persoonsbed was groot genoeg. Er was airco aanwezig, dit was echt een lega groot pluspunt! Het verkoelde echt de hele ruimte.
Er zat wat schimmel op de muren van de douche. Op zich voor mij geen probleem, maar misschien naar de toekomst toe interessant om te weten.
