Breakfast was across the main street from where or room was.The breakfast was good when we eventually go served The hotel did not seem to have enough tables or seating for guests We waited in a queue for 30mins before getting into the dining room. Unfortunately the same long process was repeated every time we had to queue for breakfast.That was was the worst part of our short break.

Very friendly staff, great room and location.
The towels in the bathrooms had an unpleasant smell which made them feel unclean.
I thought the staff were excellent, especially on reception. Hazera Nanmeet and her colleagues were extremely helpful when I needed to extend my booking.

Unfortunately the room had a few issues :-
The plug in the bath was broken it said to pull and turn but in doing this it came away.
No bottled water in the room
Struggled to switch off the lights over the bed dimmer switch was not working properly.
Need a bit of TLC.to bring it up to scratch

Spacious room for London.
Breakfast service was chaotic and buffet food not very pleasant.
I stayed across the road in the Barbican Rooms. It was very quiet but away from the facilities of the hotel. Comfy bed
They tried to bump me to a stay up on City Rd in Montcalm East which is out in the boondocks in London terms. They told me at 14.30 the night before my stay (which was booked the week before) I spent a lot of time on hold in call centres trying to sort out either a refund or a stay in the Brewery or Royal hotels. Eventually I found out at 10 am on the day of my 2 night stay they’d found a room for me. A lot of unnecessary stress and a waste of my time. Would make me think twice about booking again.
