My stay at Chalet Silvretta Hotel & Spa was unfortunately disappointing.
This was my first visit to the village, and I was looking forward to spending a pleasant holiday in the area. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to discover that the village was almost completely empty. There were very few visitors, most restaurants and cafés were closed, and only a handful of shops were open — literally few enough to count on one hand.
Because of this unexpected situation, I decided on the very same evening of my arrival that I would leave the hotel early. I immediately contacted Booking.com that evening and informed them of my decision, requesting that they notify the hotel and arrange for me to be charged for only one night instead of the full stay.
I explained that my decision was not due to any issue with the hotel room itself, but because the destination was completely different from what I had expected. The village lacked the atmosphere, services, and facilities that a traveler would normally expect, especially someone visiting for the first time.
I was also informed by the reception staff that since the reservation had been made through Booking.com, Booking.com should contact the hotel regarding my request to pay for only one night. Based on this advice, I contacted Booking.com immediately and expected a fair and reasonable solution.
While the hotel was clean and the staff were polite, I am disappointed that no flexibility was shown despite informing both Booking.com and the hotel immediately on the day of arrival. I believe future guests should be clearly informed in advance about the limited number of open restaurants, cafés, and services available in the village during certain periods of the year.
To make matters even more disappointing, Booking.com later informed me that they had contacted the hotel regarding my request and attempted to arrange for me to be charged for only one night, with the remaining amount refunded.

Super freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, mir wurden aktiv ein frisches Omelett oder andere Eierspeisen aus der Küche angeboten, Abendessen war qualitativ gut gemacht (auch wenn ich nächstes mal eher a la Carte essen würde), gute Saunalandschaft mit Snacks und verschiedenen Tees/Fruchtsäften, grosses und schönes Hallenbad im Hotel Montana, welches unterirdisch durch eine Passerelle unter der Strasse verbunden ist.
Die Zimmer sind schön, aber eher rustikal ausgestattet (muss man mögen), leider etwas „ringhörig“. Das Bett war ein Brett und die Kopfkissen waren für meinen Geschmack zu wenig gepolstert.
Das Frühstück war sehr fein, das Personal super freundlich und alles sehr schön - erholsame Tage!

Top Hotel in guter Lage im Ortszentrum. Schönes renoviertes Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal und hervorragende Küche. Gemütliche, abgetrennte Raucherlounge.
Sehr leckeres Frühstück und 5 Gänge Menü bei der HP. Tolles Schwimmbad, schöner Spa Bereich. Mitarbeitende sind äußerst freundlich. Shuttle Service zur Bergbahn und zurück.
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Absolut zu empfehlen.
Отличный отель в центре шопинга дьюти фри в Сомнауне,подземный паркинг,отличный завтрак,бар с камином- до подъемника 3 мин.на машине - потрясающая зона катания Сомнаун- Ишгль - в марте роскошная погода и состояние снега ,очень приятные люди на ресепшен,вокруг много ресторанов и магазинов - вообщем однозначно вернусь!
Ich kannte das Hotel schon und vieles ist hervorragend zu bewerten, auch wenn das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und stolze Preise aufruft.
Leider kam es am Ende noch zu einem blöden Konflikt, da man sich weigerte, die Gutscheine für den Verzicht auf den Zimmerservice auf die Konsumation anzurechnen und sich auf Kleingedrucktes berief. Wegen ca.30 Euro, (das war weniger als 1% unseres Umsatzes) stellte man sich völlig bockbeinig und stur an und vergaß danach noch uns das Skipasspfand zu erstatten. Ich verstehe bis jetzt nicht, wie man Gäste wegen solcher Peanuts verärgern kann. Ich bin im Groll abgereist und werde das Hotel nicht mehr besuchen. Die Philosophie des Hauses stimmt nicht.
