Excellent spot for touring the Rockies and Kananaskis area

Great location close to town, with convenient parking, and easy check-in. Loud Air Con.
Pros:

The location was excellent. The place is close to town and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking was available right outside the rooms on a first-come, first-served basis, which was very convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and easy to access (ours was up one flight of stairs). Wi-Fi and TV were provided, and check-in was straightforward. The host was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the whole process smooth. A mini fridge was also provided, which was handy.

Cons:

The main downside was the air conditioning unit, which was extremely loud. Unfortunately, it was too noisy for us to use while sleeping. A fan was provided as an alternative, which we appreciated, but it was also quite loud for my partner's preference. If you're someone who normally sleeps with a fan, this may not be an issue, but we found the room became quite warm overnight without using either.

One thing to be aware of is that while there is a mini fridge, the room doesn't come with any plates or cutlery. This wasn't a major issue for us, but it's worth knowing if you're planning to bring takeaway or prepare simple meals.

Beautiful location and nice room.
Pros:

Great location to downtown! Very clean. Near shops and food and walking trails. Will stay again. Easy electronic check in. Great communication.

Cons:

There were about 10 wasps using the hot tub for water that wouldn’t go away even when we turned the jets on. So we
decided not to get in.

Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable, the biggest thing was the conscience of being next to the main strip of Canmore.

Cons:

I thought the light switches were in odd places but overall not something that took away from our stay. Our body was was empty but we had our own. So again nothing major.

Great location comes with compromise
Pros:

The location is excellent. The staff responded to our concerns about no heat and request for additional blankets quickly.

Cons:

The room was damp to the point that our clothes left out of the suitcases were damp and cool when you touched them. Our socks were wet when wearing them in the room.

AVOID !!! Extremely low value for money.
Pros:

The location is good, just 20min from Banff

Cons:

The facility is a motel which is marketed as a lodge.
On top of it - no room service (cleaning etc.) unless you are asking for it 24h ahead of time and it is already 3 days you are in the hotel.
Then, they ignore your request since they are short in cleaners.
And then, the lady at the front desk don’t even understand that they just misbehave.
In short - the least value for money I have seen for a long time.

Disappointed and would not recommend.
Pros:

Location to downtown

Cons:

Bathroom was very moldy. The air conditioner was loud. The parking lot noise was annoying. Ice machine was only available if someone was in the office which was generally from 2:30-10:30pm so if someone needs ice in the morning for a cooler, you’re out of luck.

The beds were decent but the bathroom is no better than a hostel.

Clean bed was all it had going for it. Very overpriced!
Pros:

In town property making it convenient

Cons:

Unkempt stairwell to room. Narrow balcony…no room to pass by others comfortably outside. Much too expensive for a motel…I didn’t consider it a hotel…more like a roadside motel. Air conditioning extremely noisy…unable to sleep with it on and too warm with it off.
