The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall environment was very comfortable.
Very pleasant experience.
Hotel is a little old, but good overall in facilities and comfort. However, I would advise you to go elsewhere. The capitalistic undertones here ruined my stay.
1) The hotel hosted a foreign delegate during my stay. This inconvenienced all guests including myself. There were security checks before hotel entry (I was pat down like a foreigner entering the US), vehicles were not able to enter the street the hotel was on (we had to walk 3 minutes out of the hotel to get into our car and on the way back), and as a result of all other guests accompanying the delegate, I was given an extremely low floor room. All this would have been fine had I not spent more than 300USD per night for the room. Mind you, this is not luxury by any means, but is very expensive for Shanghai. I was not informed of this conflict, and I would absolutely NOT have stayed at the hotel knowing this. Then there was ZERO service recovery as if the hotel did not profit off this foreign host at the cost of other guests.
2) I was then asked to pay for an "upgrade" to a higher floor following the above. I would have gladly paid if the hotel was naturally full, but on top of the inconvenience, the lack of communication, this was just the nail in the coffin.
So do NOT stay here. I respect the Mandarin Oriental brand and have stayed in others, but I personally would not come again.

前台休息大厅小了些
-отличное расположение - 15 мин пешочком до станции метро Lujiazui,
-бесплатный трансфер в пределах 2км от отеля,
-набережная в 100 метрах от отеля, много зелени, приятно погулять
-бассейн классный, есть и сауна и хаммам,
-завтрак отличный.
-вид на реку замечательный.
-кофемашина (капсульная) в номере, пополняют регулярно.
-еще бы ресторан с видом на крыше ))
