Loved it, didn’t want to leave
Pros:

Location was ideal. Ferry stop outside your door. Train station was 7 minute walk down hill. We Uber’s up with luggage.

Cons:

Balcony over looking Lake Como. Staff was excellent and restaurant was delish. Breakfast was excellent.

Pros:

Прекрасный вид из окон на озеро, завтрак, очень приветливый персонал. Идеально для 1 ночи в Варене: после активного дня и позднего возвращения шум уже отсутствует, а ранний рассвет и вид на озеро прекрасен. Если ваш визит, как у нас, всего на 1 ночь, то локация становится плюсом и позволяет быстро перемещаться на пароме без траты времени. На более длительное пребывание этот отель бы не рекомендовала.

Cons:

Обязательно учитывать локацию: прямо под окнами осуществляется отправка паромов и как следствие постоянный шум и движения

The hotel is charming and picturesque and has the perfect location in Varenna for the train, the ferry, and town. We walked every where. Breakfast was delicious too!

Me encantó todo, la habitación con vista al balcón preciosa, el desayuno muy bueno! el personal excelente!! Aun que esta enfrente de la estación del ferry no hay ruido importante en las mañanas, enamorados de este hotel! El mejor!

We spent more time out exploring - so this was a comfortable, clean hotel with a great breakfast!
Pros:

We were right out the front of the ferry at Varenna which was perfect for beating the lines. It was clean, and comfortable.

Cons:

The room we booked felt like it was in the actual roof of the hotel, but when you book, this isnt actually clear. So the windows were either up super high or down very low making it hard to actually look out of them. The bath had a shower head but there was no screen or shower curtain so you had to sit down in the bath to actually shower which was a bit tricky.
